I have been experiencing this for a few patches now, but it seems to be getting worse with the latest. I am working on weaponsmith so i figured i would ask here first. I have ticketed the issue but want to see if it is something other then a bug.
During craft stages, after insertion of materials, the tool shuts down and I get two quick "craft session has eneded" and i lose all material that i was using. This is not during craft macro, this is during a normal craft session. (although it happens during macro too) This happened to me 3 times in a row, and 4 times in 8 crafts. I am using 15.00 craft tools on starsider so i can (hopefully) assume it isnt the tools themselves.
If anyone has had similar things happen please say so or let me know if this is a known issue, thanks for your time.

This is my *personal* official finding. Any time you make anything in practice mode with a time length for productionthat ends in a "1", you will get this problem. So anything that takes 11, 21, 31 seconds to make is a bad thing to grind.

When that happens during a macro, the two lines saying session ended it means a critical fail. When not in a macro I have no idea. It has never happened to me. Not much help I know. Sorry.

has anyone had this problem, i had the macro part figured that it was critical fails, so that doesnt surprise me.
But i am more interested in why during normal craft sessions, when i am crafting for product, it isnt crit fails, i get nothing, and it could be during any stage, nothing seems to change it. I have tried in several areas thinking it might be a lag issue similar to vehicles storing themselves, but cannot seems to find a patern. This is getting rather frustrating as i am starting to lose a lot of material due to it

Hello, I mastered CM about a week ago and I want to craft my own things and open up a shop. I am new to crafting and I havea question:
There is an Injection amplifier, and an advanced injecyion amplifier, but the schematic only calls for 'injection amplifier'. Should I make the advanced version for a better product?
Also, I dont really understand the %'s. ex: 66% OQ and 33% PE. Figuratively speaking, if I found a resource of 800 OQ with a PE of 450 and another with a OQ of 950 and PE of 350, which would be better? Could someone explain to me how this works?
Thank you for your time

Yes, you can use an Advanced component in place of any simple version, and its in your best interest to do so if you have the resources.
As for your second question, OQ of 950, PE of 350 is better. Keep a calc handy, and do this:
OQ*0.66 + PE *0.33 = total quality
OQ is the driver, unless the PE is total crap, usually a high OQ resource is the most likely best.
