The BE cloning changes will only be released on the European Servers. The US BE will be updated with the ability to crossbreed animals instead. However, due to the rating restrictions on SWG in the US, US BE's will not be allowed to actually look at the crossbreeding experimentation screen while experimenting."

...and as for Tal-N, i just got tired of his condescending posts. i dont know what he's got against me and ive tried to make peace, but theres only so much immature B S im gonna take. theres no reason for anyone to act so childish, especially someone who has beenwith the community as long as he has.
You make it sound like my posts involving you are always condescending, indeed I have no personal beef with you until you start assuming that I'm 'out to get you' or something. The fact is though that we often sit on the opposite side of issues, as they say .. opinions are like **edit**, everyone has got one.. it just so happens that we're both vocal about ours and when it comes down to it we're not gonna suger coat our responses which I think is very fair. I know for a fact you don't honestly think I'm childish, if that was true i'd be incapable of posting decent topics of which some we actually agree on.
It's just that every month that bio-engineers get a*s f*cked by SOE we're all running our tempers very thin so naturally it can lead to people like me and you turning on one another. Fair enough, this month it was me which started the bullsh*t and frankly while it's not something I'm proud of I know that at the time it felt like itwas needed.
Shall I appologise? I dunno, i still think your not helpping at all by cutting SOE some slack. Indeed we've always seen that the players who scream the loudest get the attention (you only have to look at the CH profession and it's 2 revisions over the past 4 months to see that is true) So I'll say this instead.. if you're genuinely pissed off as I am at SOE then I'm sorry I accused you off kissing up to them. If your not mad at them then I stand by what I said in that your not helping.
But what it boils down to is this... do you think I'd seriously hold a grudge against someone I never met, never will, don't know and live thousands and thousands of miles away from? The answer is no, I'll scream and shout over a topic but I don't form opinions about people who don't matter to me and whom I don't matter to.
the thing is, Tal, you do seem to be holding a grudge for some reason. i can think of several recent posts off-hand in which you specifically mentioned my name underhandedly in a negative context - some posts that i was not even involved with. theres a difference between being a child and acting like a child. im positive that you are old enough to type fairly intelligent posts, but being childish has nothing to do with age, it has everything to do with behavior. now if you are talking about heated discussions on the topic of what is/should be done with the game, that sort of thing is expected. what i dont appreciate are the implications you choose to drop in with your arguments with me, often times arguing against twisted off-hand versions of what i said (i dont know how many times ive had to tell you "thats not what i said" or "youre twisting my words"). read back up in this thread and you will find yourself backlashingafter my first and second post, in which i simply said "the sad thing is we may not even get an explanation," and that "i would feel better about itifwe gotsome reasonable explanation as to why its late again." (im paraphrasing here).
i dont think SOE diserves any slack. in fact, if you recall, i have always tried to push the community to be more vocal about our problems. i dont think i was out of line to say that i would feel a little better about being "a*s f*cked," like you accurately put it, if Kel actually sat down and told us whats up, where he is on the cloning line, what problems came up, why its late again, and when we will have it. but for some reason you completely tore into meright after i said that saying i wasnt helping the problem (as though there is somethingany of us could do) and i was happy to be lead on with BS promises, that i was kissing SOE's ass and that i somehow said they were being reasonable (quote? ..nope, i didnt say it). do i think you should apologize? i dont care, nor did iexpect you to.is every single one ofyour postsdirected to me condescending? no. but that doesnt mean i wont call you on it when it happens.
1. We apologize for the delay in the cloning system fixes, but the draft and screenshots for the new MMORPG funeral guide took longer than expected.
2. All of the CH issues with mounts needed to be addressed first, and we felt that adding piecemeal changes to BE would be less desirable than the entire finished consistant whole. We did manage to fix the bug where you don't lose materials on a failed dna template though.
3. Player gardens required even more dev team time than expected.
4. We will be dropping bioengineering holocrons soon that will hint at a path to work around existing BE bugs. To get a bioengineering holocron, sample a kimogila clone.
5. We discovered that a master brawler with bare knuckles could kill a lesser womp rat, and have been working overtime to fix this horrible imbalance.
6. We did ________________ to the warren. Fill in the blank. Thats what we did. Yes, I know this is a bit pathetic, but I am sticking with it.
7. For new content this month, we have added a new exciting line of jedi only hairstyles. Our artists have been working overtime to get cool butch looking ponytails for our padwans. May the force be with you!
8. We have decided to eliminate all BE templates entirely, and this drastic change will take longer than expected. Expect to see an exciting new clone system soon!
9. We are getting really close to having our first non buggy clone blurrg. It could happen any day now. But it is hard to actually predict when. From our perspective it seems easy, if we were to only do X, Y, and Z we would have a functioning clone system. But to the devs working the problem, it is not so simple.
10. We are delaying the clone system to the next publish since the Boba Fett clone template isn't working right. It keeps looking like a storm trooper.
