Thank you for dropping by with news Holo, as you probably figured by now this means a lot to a lot of use

Im sorry to hear that the creature cloneing elements will be delayed but from what your saying it sounds like they will be worth the wait

Thank you for the update on how things are going

3 months old? I think you're looking at the date Holo registered for his account... the date he posted is at the bottom (09-08).

I beta'd the game and agreed with everyone else that it needed more work before being released, but the problem was all the fans clamoring for it. *WE* end up being the game programmer's worst nightmare, as we don't want to wait months for them to release it, but we complain when they give in to our demands with an unfinished product. We then demand by tooth and claw that their programmers fix it, and fix it NOW. Every single form on this web site has people saying the same thing. No, the programmers are not sitting around drinking Jolt Cola and eating Cheetos all day. What they do is hard, and I appreciate that they decided to do this game at all.

I mean honestly... would you work faster for customers who don't appreciate anything you've done, but scream in 1,000 different voices to have 1,000 different things fixed... not later.. but right now? It would make me cynical and want to fix their problems even less.

Poking the animal with a stick doesn't get it to work faster, it just makes it mean. The same works for game programmers. I'm glad our programmers listen to our opinions and advice, and are working towards what we need. If you aren't satisfied with the game, play something else. There's no need to have an aneurysm, we've all bought games we didn't like. Personally, I'll play as long as I can find something interesting to do, which is rather often.

So yeah, keep up the good work guys, and get a tough skin, because people are real @#$@#^^ sometimes.

Looks like a lot of good stuff... I'm still a bit disappointed about the resources though. I'm not a master BE yet, but I'm not looking forward to harvesting fish for Pet Stimpack D's... could this be changed to something else specific but a bit more reasonable? Or some sort of harvester for fish, please - I don't think anyone wants to sit around for hours fishing, and I doubt selling is enough incentive for most players to spend hours fishing to sell in the bazaar.

Also, a ton of specific components are required when you take the advanced medical components into account. Perhaps the most annoying part of all about this is that these parts (liquid suspension, biological controller, advanced versions, etc) give us medical exp, when we want bio-engineer exp instead... most BE's are not in need of this exp

Some of the tissues have other odd components also, like milk... but I see the stimpacks as a greater concern. Most people tend to only sell pet stimpack B's because of this issue.

I agree 100% with Tal-N on this one!!! I think it would be a REALLY REALLY REALLY good idea to give us a full color pallette when engineering animals. This alone would open the market for us quite a bit, even without new creatures. Please do this, and I'll overlook the milk thing. =)

WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

there is a BE Dev up there in SOE land! WOW...

Too bad the creature changes are not going to make it in... But Factory crates of Stims Here I come!!! and my tissues are going to work.... Wow the master talior who is my next door nieabor is going to be super happy to include those materals in their clothing lines....

Now get rid of the rare materials need for the stims... milk, Fish, mullusk meat, eggs... These are just too hard to come by and will never be droped as loot because loot is still screwed up!!

I for one will be happy to see this change... now to get to master soon so that I can be really compeatative!

Oh yeah and I want the 255 color ranges for the pets.... I want to make green miniture banthas!!

Character Name: Chalvooka WOOKIEE FROM DAY ONE!! still a wookiee even after a small break from SWG!!! A Wookiee from before wookiee armors and ROTW or RTOS!!!!

I think some hybrid creature would do well to make variety. Maybe a bantha and a slice hound? No im jk but seriously that would make the bio-engineers a lot better instead of just cloners they would actually be what thier title implies. However the fesablility of this is all to aparently nill unless you find a cleaver way to meld your 3d-models just add this to the wish list i guess.

Scorus:
Will anything be done about tissue ingredients? Factories don't help for the many things that require milk, eggs and seafood.

The ingredient requirements are not currently being changed. We'd rather see these ingredients get reasonable methods to collect them then to remove all the variety of ingredients and have everything made with the same few things.

idea of reasonable methods to collect them sounds great, but why the long wait on putting something like milk in as a reasonable resource. "live creature samples" have been added and still no clue on what their real purpose is except make a basic display somewhere. Then there are the gambling tables (two different kinds and they've even been patched twice because of bugs) Now how hard is it to put in something like milk which is needed for crafting?!?

Nice to hear about a patch and all, but how many of us joined BE to be able to make cloth enhancements and pet stim packs?

Whoopie I can make flex-fiber-bio-strength horse crap!!

Fix the creatures FIRST... then worry about the other pidly stuff. At least throw us a bone with a new creature or two in the CL 30 ish range to tie us over. Sorry for being so negative... but I'm at the end of my rope.

Thanks for passing on this info Holo!

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, information goes a long way to aliviate greif (mine included).

Good news on factory production! But please, Please, PLEASE test this thoroughly before release!!! It seems everytime something gets done to factories only breaks things more than fix's them, so please test this, please!!

Oh man I really got to start grinding again now. Just fixing the tissue and factory issues will be sweet. Just wish knew when it would go in. I figure creature changes would not be in till the player city and/or mounts patch.
