I would probably go with MBH, MCM, Pistols 0004 or Carbines 0400, or stay with the same template you have. Currently mine is MBH, MCarb, CM 4000 and I will probably change up to MBH, MCM, Carb 0400 to keep my carbine damaging attacks plus the range I still have with carbines. I thought long and hard about doing Pistols 0004 and decided to stick with some carb.

Adding pistoleer to smuggler is reduntant, IMO.... too much crowd control, not enough offense. With Smuggler/Carbines, you get a good balance of crowd-control, offense, and range (50m opposed to 35m for pistols). I have some medic, but obviously can't keep up with the power of CM. Not awesome in PvP, but stick with a group and a friend who can heal.... Only other drawback is the pre-reqs for Smuggler, pistols (carbines takes up more) and unarmed, which is completely useless right now to a ranged smuggler.
Tons of slicing componants drop from Bounty Hunter missions. You can combo Master Smuggler and Master BH, which I've heard is pretty good, too.

I'm Mswords/ TK 34xx/ fencer xxx4/ Doc 4xx4....works good, only reason for the 3xxx tk btw is the extra 500 health is kinda nice against high dmg temp's until my bind kicks in

4xxx Fencer is useless.
xx4x ain't bad, but xx3x fencer give you blind.
xxx4 Fencer give +50 GENERAL acc,
x4xx fencer gives +10 General speed, the snare and imp. lunge.
Basically, buddy grabbed the two most useless lines of fencer to go with 2h.

One of the most important things for swordsman is action cost. If you miss alot you cannot be effective as a swrodsman so the general melee accuracy is extremely important. %0 melee defence is nothing when you allready have about 750 melee defence when you have CoB on. However the difference between 200 and 250 accuraccy is huge. Esspecially because there is a damage modifier if your dependant on accuraccy of the attacker and defence of the defender.
