I've been getting some very nice ones off Nightsisters lately. Specifically, Spell Weavers and Protectors. May want to try those.

Here are some of the ones that I got recently:

Fire Resistance: 13

Rifle Accuracy: 13

Pistol Speed: 7

Combat Med. Exp: 6

Marauders on Endor. Get into a solo group on Dantooine with 20 people. Head to Endor. Pull Difficulty 240 Marauder missions. I've looted some nasty tapes in that fashion. Not to mention tons of DOT weapons.

You may want to bring a melee friend with you so they can tank. And just head up to the Nighsister Stronghold POI and you'll find a bunch of em on the way and around that area.

well you can get skill attachments off of any NPC kinda like for crystals.

Alot of the attachments are found in containers and debris piles in the various caves and mini-dungeons in the game (pygmy torton cave, lost aqualish cave, borgle bat cave, aakuan champ cave, and many more). The drop rate in the containers is MUCH more frequest than trying to loot them off of NPC's. However, most of the attachments found in the caves will be of the +1 or +2 category, to get the big ones, like +10, or +25, you will need to take out high level NPC's like Nightsister Elders etc..

I would have to agree about the Nightsisters.... Though, my experiences with them have not yielded many Skill tapes or Armor attachments as other pieces of loot.

The best place I found for skill tapes has also been caves, containers, debris piles etc on various planets...

His respawn rate is very very very long too....not as long as the nightsister elder though.

As for SEA drops, the best ones come from NPC's (mid to high level). The rate drop seems to shift like resources from my experience. I use to clear the aakuan cave and get at least 4 SEA drops (+6 or better variety) in 2 clearings which is roughly 2 hours......but all npc's seem to be camped and you have to be lucky to have any npc caves or strongholds to yourself. Having one to yourself for an hour is where most of my high level drops came from.

Now with the server population booming....you have to be lucky to get a good drop. Nightsisters are being slaugtered by the hundreds of thousands since they lost their force powers and cool specials they used to kill you will in one hit....LOL

For the most part, I found that static spawns seem to yeild the most SEA drops but you can take certain missions that will spawn npc's that drop SEA's although it seems you have to kill more of them just to even get 1 good drop, Hell sometimes just to even get a +1 or +2 drop.

One more thing I noticed is that the mag seal containers and loot piles found in caves and such all seem to have a lot of non-combat SEA's. More often than not you'll get craftingSEA's or defensive types. You will be lucky if you find weapon specific SEA's Like speed, accuracy, damage...etc. Most of those type seem to drop from NPC's more often.

This is all from my experience and I don't claim this info is 100% accurate, but in my time of playing (approaching 1 year now) this is the info I have gathered....I keep detailed notes of everything I do.....and my notes say that aakuan cave gave me the highest drops of anything I've fought.

Last thing, Kunga's, Jantas, Mokks, Dantari.....these type of npc's don't drop SEA's....at least I've never gotten anything from them except DOT knives, staffs, leather and rarely locked containers.IF anyone has got any from them, please let me know....I've killed millions and haven't gotten 1. Ilevel 2 elite professions on kunga's andnever got anything good from them....even their DOT weapons suck.

Its all random. As with anything in this game, it just takes persistance. I've found that if you keep lootin facion NPC, you will so become lucky.
