This is a decent site: http://plaza.ufl.edu/spalumbo/

The three highest sellers for me are: Active Biosensors, Tensile Release, and Coagulant Agents. (add Enhanced Myoflex Treatment)

Shezus, guys. tissues are NOT skill-enhancing attachments

tissues are crafted into clothing. Bio-engineers can make them.

skill-enhancing attachments are loot drops only (if at all, anymore), and are inserted into already-made clothes that have sockets.

everyone: if you're not absolutely sure what you're talking about when answering a question, and I mean absolutely sure, please don't step up and confuse people. it just adds confusion to the mix and slows us down because we are then asked the same questions over and over. If you don't know, just say it. No one is going to think any less of you, in fact a lot of people will think more of you, as it takes a bit of courage to say that you don't know something as opposed to making something up.

Who wants to write a Bio-Engineer FAQ? I vote that we do one and keep it sticky.

Are they still dropping? Now that they finally work, I haven't seen any.

I don't know the answer to this for Jedi, but if they don't then they are the only profession in the game where they don't work. If they don't work for you then that is extremely unfair to all Jedi. I use it for masking scent and camo, and it does work. I know others that use it for their professions and they die to get them. So what would be the justification for Jedi not having access to this?

Yes, confirmed -

Defenses do.

'Attacks' don't - jedis use "saber skills" and there are no skillmods for them ingame yet that I have ever heard of.

They're supposed to drop randomly from NPC's. The harder the target is the more likely that if they drop a tape it'll be a high value one. Basically if something looks big, hard and nasty go kill it and see.

There used to be some loot piles you could get them from but due to excessive afk macro camping I think most of those have either gone or only give +1 tapes now.
