bobsmock has certainly got the idea. I only recently picked up an alt and am now using a total of 16 lots for power and mineral extraction. The money is good even though I am stockpiling a lot of resources for crafting.
I only wish I had started when I began playing in the first week.

I rent mine to one of my friends and he pays a minimum of 75K a week (usually 100K). Thats another good way to make money if you meet the right people.
Basically you use your lots and put their harvesters or whatever on them and add them to the admin list. This way they get all the resources and you get rent money. A good deal all round I've found.

Think twice before your rent lots or doing cross server lot trades! You can hardly be certain that the "lotlords" would not misappropriate your precious resources at the same them they earn rents from you. I have had learnt hard lessons myself.

I also do this, when I started swg I had 8 wind gens up and got 30-40k a day, Im tkm now so I dont need them, but its great when first starting out.

Hello,
I'm currently building my Carbineer skills at the mo. Is there a way to get cash more quickly than doing the 1k missions. I haven't been on long but I've noticed everything on all vendors has gone up in price (ie: swoop bike was costing 20k. Now cost between 28k & 35k)
I'm not being funny or anything but it's hard to do stuff when you have to spend all day online just to buy a smock?

You could try grouping with other players... that will give you and the members of your group access to higher paying missions.
Couple things to remember... group your pet and keep your best weapon equipped (Best Carbine if you're carbineer) - these two things will help you get better missions.
Or, try going to Dantooine and running solo missions for Savage Quenkers. They are worth 7k each and the XP is great!
