1: make around 3000 creds doing destroy mission from terminals

2: purchase on bazaar or craft 1: a wind or solar power generator 2: as many personal mineral harvesters as you can

3: use the power generator to generate power for your harvesters

4: use hte harvesters to extract minerals (you need artisan:surveying to locate the harvest sites, and a mineral surveying tool)

5: sell the resources (at least 2 creds per unit)

6: buy bigger harvesters, and a fusion generator as soon as you can

7: you can either continue to sell minerals, or start selling fusion as you choose

8: fusion typically sells lower than minerals, but you can extract it faster...

9: fusion doesn't always come up in the shift, so there is downtime

10: thats how i made my money

11: i also rented lots from RL friends and payed them ingame around 5k per lot per week

12: i have been a millionaire from this for over 3 weeks now.. haven't worked in a long time and haven't lost any of my money... buying stuff like crazy... but still have money... pretty sweet...

What would you say is the best way to earn money as an Architect?

BER10 medium and/or BER13 heavy harvesters have been my biggest money maker lately.

High end crafting stations with functional ratings +40 or higher are also pretty good and have a high profit margin.

If you're starting out then furniture might work well. Nothing special to make them and you can mark up a lot of items quite a bit over resource costs.

Lots of good quality - high BER harvestors. Try and factory build as many as you can (save up and do the lot at once). This should cut down on failure rates through crit fails on experimenting and crafting - but will cost you one unit.

If you are just starting out and haven't the resources to do high BER stuff or factory runs, lots of good cheap furniture and doing some interior design can be profitable (some folks will pay 500,000 credits for a good Large House of PA Hall design). Statues and city stuff (street lights for example) also sell well - and if you can make them, garages are going to be the next hot item (especially with vehicles hitting the servesr tonight).

Resource selling is another good way to get started (and how I and I think most Architects got their "seed" capital together).

Ok, thanks. I guess this leads into my next question, how much should I charge for the items I build? Or more accuratly, how much is everyone else charging? I want to make sure I'm selling things for similar prices to everyone else.

Higest profit item currently is 10 BER harvestors, but it will take a tremendous number of sales. PA halls and city structures, and large houses is where I made the bluk of my money ( mostly PA halls ). However there is little demand for city structures now.

ok, i am a fighter, doing pretty well. the best money i can make is on a destroy mission that nets ~5-6k/per. thats not bad, but is there a way to get even more? outside of any combat professions that i have not explored yet, that is. thanks for the input.

Bounty hunter is pretty good, plus your probably only Soloing missions and doing missions on staring planets. If you can find a good hunting group, say 3+ (elite proffesion) people you can get Sharnoff missions out of coronet, each one is around 14k and take about5 to 15minutes. So in under an hour you can net around 30k. Plus you get the Sharnoff Plates for use in Armor which you can sell.

the higher lvl your combat skills the higher the difficulty lvl is on your missions, hence, higher payout. grouping with ppl also does this. you can also go to high end planets like lok, endor, yavin iv, or dath. they usually give missions in the 5 digits if you have high lvl combat skills.

The best way to earn money in my experience is not by doing missions. I started out buying 6 personal mineral extractors and setting them on a vein of 94% steel. I was able to sell my earnings from those 6 personal mineral extractors after 1 day to make 60K creds. I have since bought a small fleet of Medium Mineral extractors (about15 with the help of cross-server property trades)and am hauling in about900k a day in pure profit (after maintainance and fuel purchases). I did all this inside 2 weeks. Try it. You'll like it.

Oh by the way you don't have to be of any specific profession to accomplish this. You don't even have to spend very much time worrying with it (i spend about 30min a day fooling with my extractors, and another 30 min. selling my minerals in bulk).
