Thread: Non-Kashyyyyk Twins and Triplets!
OK, I'm checking that right now....
I have 38 samples that didn't make it into pets (yet), and 30 of them have 1k hardiness
1 AA @ 968 / 1 VHQ @ 998
Modelling a level 34-35-36 on the pet prediction tool with 1149 hardiness and 300 dexterity ... only 12 points of power between each level...it's a fine line ...
Mind you it doesn't always work that way but power = massive effect and I think that's probably it. The animals that have higher health have a few points lower power in the DNA on average ... meaning if you canlook for the highest health narglatches to samplethen spend the extra points that you'll get from the slightly reduced power in something else to bump it up to 35.
Is the value higher than 1000 in the animals? I don't think so. Reason being ... as was recently pointed out by, I think, PlainWhiteSocks, the assembly step combines and then adds 15%. So 15% of 1000 being 150 ... we see 1150 (well really 1149) when we combine 5 1000's.
That means that we could then sample a deed with 1149 health and expect to get 1149 health and should we obtain5 samples with 1149 health they could then be combined to get a deed with 1321 health. But in actual fact, when we sample the deed it doesn't really give us 1149 health and if we are lucky it will say 1000 on the DNA - now is this hiding the true value of 1149?. I haven't yet had 5 first generational sample from the same set of similar animals but I'm willing to bet that 1000 is really a 1000 and that it's not a hidden 1149 ... if you combine them you'd probably get 1149 again ... not 1321.
So for anyone who has done that? Is that correct?
