Thread: Non-Kashyyyyk Twins and Triplets!
1) use Nam's calc. its faster than really doing it, it saves dna and it gives you a better idea of what you are going to get.
2) get samples of normal creatures of all levels. using these in the calc will give you a better idea of how to adjust a pets level just a little.
3) Plains Hunters are my friends. I use this DNA a lot. I haven't check to see if its the same now as from before the CH thing, but it had 575ish hardiness and power and the other stats were low.
Nam's Calculator? Where oh where would I find this calculator app?
Thank you kindly.
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this but I had to ask Nam where he put it
Here is his post (which I will also bump and I put the proper link intothe FAQ)
I expect the'd probably be about the same(ish) - maybe the ullers' will be a bit better ... anyone done a side by side comparison with narglatch guardians and ullers to see how they differ? hmmm....
I've been wandering around looking for non-kash elites lately. The spider cave on dath has elites but ... they're level 77 (sob). Well, at least I didn't have the bother of having to drive BACK from the cave lol.

I apoligize if this isn't a real educated question, I'm just beginning BE: Has anyone used some of the big name non-rotw creatures? By this I mean specifically Krayt Dragons (several varieties to try there), the acklay, maybe some of the other geo creatures...trying to think of some others...gorax. Ahh, all the creatures involved with RIS armor also jump to mind (kimos, woolmanders, gurk king...)? Are these viable sources of DNA?

You cannot sample from creatures that are above level 75

Confession time: last month sometime, I was on Endor looking for things to sample and I came across Mr. Gorax. I knew he was too high a level to sample. I knew that it was said that nobody had ever gotten a sample from anything more than level 75 - hundreds and hundreds of previous BE's have said this - this is LORE. Howerver, me being me, I thought ... what if .... hmmm .... /sampleDNA ...
!
swat
.....
you have been slain by the gorax ...
Next time I will listen (maybe) ...

take 5 narglatch guardian/hunter DNA from the narglatch cave (near moenia - naboo) - it's a POI. Put them into a template and don't experiment.
You will get a 8K health level 34-35 as a result ..(That one is sort of thanks to Cin who has always suggested the Narglatch cave as a good source of non-Kashyyyk elite DNA).I can alsocertify that the guardians and hunters are still elite post-the-big-publish-for-CH's .... I was there last night (Aug 7). I know they stopped female narglatches from being elite but the hunters and guardians are still (didn't actually look for females to check that tho - going by reports by CH's and the publish notes).Dor
I got a request for these pets today (/cheer Dor) and I'm going to grab some DNA for it later. I'll compare them to 5xUller Stoneclaw DNA and see what the difference is. They both have 1k hardiness and the other stats are similar. We'll see what happens.... *evil snicker* *gets out the bone saw*

okie... i only died once at the narg cave, but I had to do a LOT of running around :/
5 x narg w/no experimentation came out to be lvl 34 every time. 8270ish health 40-230 damage
5 x uller stoneclaw w/no experimentation came out to be lvl 35 every thime. 8310ish health 42-238 damage
so... I'm thinking nargs are better. You can try throwing a few points into prow or psyc to bump the regen / aggro stats a bit and get them up to lvl 35. Whereas you have to leave the ullers pretty much as is. But it is a wonderful recipe because of how easy it is. I'm all for no-brainers cause mine don't work so good no mo! ![]()
It would appear that most of the nargs guardians/hunters are 900+hard which would account for the lower health and thus lower level, ocassionally you will come across a narg g/h in the very high 900's and possibly even 1000, these tend to produce level 35
