point of clarification, in case some of you are assuming a MCH can have more than ONE factional pet out at a time--NO...but we can have a ("a" meaning "ONE") factional out at the same time as another pet...but back in the day we all could do 3 FP's and 3 CP's if ya were MCH--and your FP's actually helped you in a fight!....now, they do nothing in PVE unless you are fighting Imps/Rebs--it's sad really.

The reason why is seemed vague to me is that is said "Bioengineered pets do kinetic damage". Had it said "Bioengineered pets do kinetic damage while attacking in ranged mode" it would have been very specific and clear. It wasn't clear to me if the question was understood between ranged vs melee damage. The problem is some of those 19Questions are answered in such a way that itisn't clear that thequestion was understood as the question was simply not answered. Be it the questionwas dodgeor they are not in touchwith how they game is playedto understand what is being is always questionable.I may be reading more into the answer than what is really there because of those past problems they have had answering the questions with straight forward and direct answers.

EXACTLY

We all know BE clones do kinetic damage... We wanted to know if the ranged attack did kinetic **and** what type of ranged damage wild pets did.

Has anyone conducted any experiments yet to see weather or not TH statement is true?

I did one tonight.

I had my Toxic Merek Battlelord attack my friend. He had on a Helmet with Acid protection and kinetic protection. He had on body armor with kinetic protection but no Acid protection. And leggings that had Acid and Kinetic protection.

With my TMB on range attack only, when he hit the body, indicated by floaty numbers in red, it hit for exactly what the combat queue stated. When hit in the Head for mind damage with blue floaty numbers it was dramatically lower if I remember correctly combat queue was 250ish with floaty 55 and I believe he said it had either 55% or 75% acid resists. When hit in the legs indicated by green floaties we had both full hits and reduced hits, this being because he is a Doshan and can't wear boots.

Afterwards he reviewed his combat log and the helmet and the leggings did list as reducing the amount of damage delivered on him. So a TMB's range attack is Acid (I didn't check his other resists in his armor, but it surely isn't kinetic).

Today was my first full day as a Novice BE. I made a nice little Eopie with ranged attack. CL13 with H2634 A2239 M3586 but only 70-75 damage. We repeated the experiment. With the Eopie on Ranged attack only. When he hit the body he was hitting for the full 9 points of damage, the body armor being resistant to Kinetic but no resists to Acid. When he hit the mind the combat queue stated 9 points, but the floaty stated 1, and that helmet had both Acid and Kinetic resists in it. We then waited for the Eopie to hit his legs, and the same reduction was seen there.

In this experiment the BE made Eopie with Ranged attack was not shooting Kinetic damage. I want to venture to say it was Acid, but I believe we need more testing.

If anyone else tested this, please let us know your results.
