Quite impressive work Eugee.

Now I can't wait to get home and put this to use. I'll have to pour back through the master list of commands to see if there any possible way to either get this to select resources for you or at least get this to work with a crafting station (would really help on those freakin' Projectile Rifle Barrels we all have nightmares about).

It appears that this doesn't work with the new practice mode

I double-checked the internal commands, and I don't see anything new that would toggle the practice button instead of prototype, unless it'sjust a newargument of the same command. But then, what's the argument and it's syntax?

Eugee, you know that all you have to do is hit enter right?

anyway. does the /nextCraftingStage and /createPrototype not work if you are at a crafting station?

So is there a command to forward the crafting session? I couldn't use my old macros for the crafting station, so I have to hit enter. It's really slowing me down.

Here is a little macro I set up to grind out projectile rifle barrels. Once it starts the only thing you have to do is click on the resource(steel)you want to use.
First your gonna need to make up two macros...c1 and c2 to keep it simple. This is how c1 should look...without my (quotes) of course.

/ui action toolbarSlot00
/selectDraftSchematic# (# being the thing you want to craft. 68 is rifle barrels for me.)
/pause 10 (this is the point that you will load in the resources.)
/nextCraftingStage
/pause 01 (I can't get it to work without these 01 pauses.)
/nextCraftingStage
/pause 01
/createPrototype
/pause 01
/createPrototype
/pause 05
/ui action toolbarSlot23

Ok, now for c2...(this will be a whole new macro)

/ui action toolbarSlot01
/selectDraftSchematic# (# being whatever number you used in c1)
/pause 10
/nextCraftingStage
/pause 01
/nextCraftingStage
/pause 01
/createPrototype
/pause 01
/createPrototype
/pause 05
/ui action toolbarSlot22

Now, take c1 and put it in your tool bar at slot 22 which is bottom row second one from the right. Take c2 and put it in the 23 slot which is bottom far right.

Next put a crafting tool in 00 which is top left and a tool in 01, right beside 00.

To get it started just click on c1, and you will have a constant looping macro where the only clicking you have to do is to add resorces.

You will have to stop to destroy the barrels that are filling your inventory. To stop the loop just remove c1 or c2 from the toolbar.

Also, I know it looks like there are a lot of time wasting pauses in the macros. I don't know what kind of time the macro system uses but it's not seconds. The 10 pause is only about 5-6 seconds.

This works well for me. I don't know how well it will work for you, but it cant hurt to try.

I'm using it for Projectile Pistol Barrels now, and I make 3 of them every 7 seconds. I don't like making it pause for resources, because sometimes they go in slower than others, and if I get a /tell from someone, this is when I pause to answer them. Besides, pushing 1-2-3 isn't too rough on the wrists.

150 WSXP every 7 seconds, need one resouce (steel) and it's only two slots. I've not really even grinded that much. I put two Wind Generators on a 68% concentration (that took awhile to find) then slapped eight Personal Mineral Extractors on a 66% concentration of steel. I hade a 94% aluminum the day before, but I thought you could use any metal for the WSXP. Anyone want a LOT of Aluminum on Scylla?

Anyway, I loaded up the extractors enough to run for 2 days, and when they run dry I'm going to scrap them and put 8 new ones (cheaper to rebuild PMEs I find, than reclaim them) up on a 85% steel concentration I found out on a single plateau in this gawd awful swamp.

But I would just macro-combine PPBs (projectile pistol barrels) while waiting for transports, running through fairly safe terrain, chatting with a friend, etc. I've got 10K WSXP now, I'm liking this. Figure I'll need 17,500 units of steel sans fails, right? Maybe a little more, I'm using 26 resources to get 50 WSXP at the moment. Can't wait for Firearms I, then I'm climbing up the Technique tree. I'm not planning to commercially sell a gun until I've got Firearms I & Technique IV.

Later!

Well i dont see the need to get it all now now now. I hit novice about the same time as the masters on my server, i chose not to grind through, make what i sell only basically, now im 3/4 way through, 6 million in the bank, a very large customer base, etc.... the others chose to grind their way to it, eh id rather play the game instead of clickign for 5 hours a day straight, but its all personal preferance. you dont have to be master the fastest to make money, hell i know of some guns i make that are better then some of the masters guns, without that 3 extra xperimention. You have to be smart in what you use and smart in how and where you sell etc. Just because you grinded your way to master in 2 days, doesnt mean your a wepaonsmith worth a **edit**, or people will buy your crap.

I keep reading through, trying to figure out where I said I want to master it all now now now. Granted if that's what I want to do, so what. In EverQuest, the *real* way to enjoy the end game is to fly to 65 as fast as possible, pick up the AA levels that are mandatory for high end raiding, then relax. It's after you get those abilities that it really starts getting fun.

Now here, my rush is to hit figure out if I'm going Pistoleer or Rifleman, and get Weaponsmith with Firearms I & Technique IV. After that, no rush. But I frankly don't want to make guns till Technique IV, and frankly my quality will pale till then, with a few masters kicking out amazing stuff. So far, I've only spent about 15 minutes at shuttle ports grinding Firearms I, but I'm over 1/3 of the way done.

Okay,

I've read all this stuff and I tried to get this to work, but it wouldnt...

What am I missing?

I can get the lines that select the tool and the schematic to work. (Note that I have to put a space before the schematic number, this is not in the examples listed)

But I couldn't get this to work, finally looking at it and thinking about it.. I wondered why you all have the next and prototype lines twice, and I finally realized you have the confirm messages on while doing this... Now the macro seems to work.

2 notes though...

1 - instead of getting "Please wait while...." And then "A Prototype object is finished..." I just get "The crafting Session has ended"

2 - The barrel appears before the tool finishes counting down... projectile barrel is supposed to take 9 secs, it takes about 5 when I use the macro.

Weird.

So is this what everyone gets or am I getting some weird results?

Note - My example has a space preceeding the schematic number.

1 - As mentioned, it skips all those screens. The kit just closes, you get xp, and the hopper starts running. when the hopper completes, you get your item.

2 - The item comes out when the hopper time expires, but that number only updates every 5 seconds. If it says 11 hopper time, next it will say 6, then 1, then the item comes out 1 second later, then 4 seconds after that the number will go away, even though the hopper was ready. You should use enough kits that you never run into a kit that's still going. With CSDs, PPBs (Proj Pist Barrels) and PRBs (Proj Rifl Barr) I need three kits to do this.

Are you getting your item? Are you getting XP? Stay away from crafting stations or this macro will not work, remember. It will look like it did, but nothing happens.

I'm shelling out a ton of WSXP in a short time right now. I pull up 38000 steel a day at the moment, and sell 5000 of it to pay for my 2 generators & 16 extractors (girlfriend planted down 8 of them at gave me admin). I'm left with 33000 xp and here's the rough numbers:

I take 3 seconds to make a PRB, get 90 wsxp for it, use up 46 resources each shot, and stop to delete my inventory about every 55 PRBs. It takes less than 60 seconds to do this, I zap 2 every second until there are about 5 left, then take my time for the last few, then resume. 1 minute would include taking a drink, hugging my girlfriend, answering tells, etc.

33000 / 46 = 717 combines
717 / 55 = 13 inventory clears (13 minutes)
717 x 3 sec = 2151 sec (36 minutes)
Total Crafting Time - 49 minutes

717 x 90 = 64530 wsxp
Total Weaponsmithing XP - 64530 wsxp

64530 wsxp / 49 min = 1316 wsxp / min

Did Technique I last night in my sleep, I should finish off II & III tonight, I'm in a good mood. After Firearms IV & Technique IV, I'm going to plant generators and materials to build PMEs (pers mineral extract) on the girlfriend's 8 slots, and stockpile them, then begin roaming the galaxy dropping down a PME on any rare resource I find and lobbing enough credits & power on it to run for several days. Figure I'll have ten PMEs to place, should stockpile any resource I find rather well.

Anyway, add in actually having a conversation with someone in /tells, and I'm up to about 1 hour to churn through 33000 steel. I'll take 64.5K wsxp an hour. And the macro way is a HORDE easier to do, also.
