Its all going to be rigged and everyone player that goes in the sand box with a dev or simalir will die a horrible death.
Saying that I would be very intrested
.
The reasons why you should pick me over someone else.
Hmm well im not as expericened as some of the other and I havent Master BE yet but hope to soon. However after learning enough about the game Ive started looking into testing thats been done on the test servers and would appericate a chance to contribute my ideas and opions futher in this way.

Oh yeah, why you should pick me...
almost forgot that part
Well, I have beta tested a few games, not that it matters... but mostly, I play this game from a lot of angles between the two characters I have. I activley particpate in the GCW. I have as a BE/TKM and continue to with my all combat character and my BE/Tailor...
I know both sides of the coin very well, combat and BioEngineering... and have vested interests in both... so I won't be quick to jump to conclusions withiout looking at the bigger picture

I am going to nominate someone to go.
ArthurDentOnBria has done so much for this commuity since waybefore talthazar had to leave us. And he went to the fanfest, kept us in the loop with what was said. He has also busted his but trying to get to the bottom of some of the BE calculation (not that you haven't as well nancyJ:smileywink
.
I just feel that with all he has give us, and the fact he has remained calm during this entire time (i have never really seen him flame or be rude to anyone) that we should honor him with aninviteto the sandbox.

I would like to volunteer to be a part of the team that plays in the combat revamp sanbox. I have been playing almost everyday, several hours a day, since 1/1/04 and have mastered a variety of professions both combat and crafting. I currently have 3 accounts that I alternate between, although once I mastered Bio-engineer I set the other 2 aside, apart from the occasional session of mayhem and destruction.
I mastered BE a little over three months ago and between then and now have learned a great deal about the art and science of creating pets. I've also learned that history is my best source of information and now keep logs of all my pet crafting sessions so that I can re-use what I have learned or sometimes stumbled across.
My whole desire behind becoming a BE was to make pets CHs could really use as an effective weapon or tank in combat. With that as my goal and 3 months of experience under my belt of making pets I believe I have succeeded in creating some exceptional combat pets. The core of my experience is making level 10 through 35 pets as these are most popular for people working up the CH tree and the most challenging to get great stats at a lower level. Using my notes and experience I can honestly say creating a pet of specific stats or with specific specials is easily within my grasp. I think the level 23 pet in the following post is a good example.
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=79180
The one area of BE that I lack experience in is the use of multiple generations to create uber type pets. Every pet I make is 1st generation unless I desire a specific special or AR1 under lvl 25 then I need a second generation.
Oh yes, and I have made my share of chef and tailor tissues, but those aren't much fun
In RL I'm a IT project manager who is accustomed to working through the various phases of a project lifecycle. I would think what SOE is doing from a high level with the combat revamp is no different than any other project. I beleive my playstyle, time in game and RL experience would be a good match for this team.
Character professions
1) Master Doctor/Master Medic/TKA
2) Master Swordsman/Master Scount/Master Brawler
3) Master Bio-Engineer/Master Merchant

MBE/CH/Fencer Here, extremely active crafter and hunter. I'm also a Mayor on my Alt with a Smuggler/Pistoleer template almost finished.
My favorite professions seem to be BE/CH and I would love to test our crafting abilities with our primary Combat customers (CH) as may of us are....
Been playing since launch and participate in almost every TC2 opportunity. I also have a 10 month old TC character I primarily test new quests out with and submit typo /bugs.
I am a Community Leader and constant contributor in multiple profession and server forums as well.
My main goal if selected will be to ensure that our BE pets are actually balanced properly against the other combat profession's weapons. I have grown tired of us being reduced to producing pets that stand no chance versus most content or PvP in the game.
I want us to be able to make 'Uber Acklay Stun Baton' type pets too...
If selected I pledge to go on vacation on my home server to serve the BE community to my best abilities....
Please consider my application.
Thank You.

I'll throw my application into the ring.
Why?
I am not hear to wine and dine you or say how great my experience is. For the most part anyone who has been here longer than a few months probably has the same amount of experience in game. I have been playing since launch as a BH / CH / BE etc, but again, so what .. we can all make pets... and chances are some of can actually fight or were called to do so at one time.
What you really need is people with critical thinking skills that can think in a proactive manner. I mean why do you think this game and the professions are in the state we are? Because people all sat around the table and never could think far enough in advance as to the decisons they would be making; Or they didn't have the balls to voice those opinions. Either way, having a bunch of people who know how to push buttons doesn't mean jack.
We will have probably one kick at the can, when you make your decsions NancyJ. If you want a team staffed with followers and nice people, thats cool. I also think in the end you'll need some people to stand up to the pressure of what really matters, and that is getting this profession something more interesting to do.
Its about results. I call it as i see it, and I am a straight shooter, with critical thinking skills that go along with that. It probably bothers the devs with my posts but I sleep well ( and with lots of women at my side ), at night to boot.
ok there is my post.

Well, I might as well toss in my application. I'm nowhere near as experienced on this game as some of the others posting.I've dabbled in almost every profession. Currently my template isMBE with some Pistoleer and CH(hmm, seems I like the "nerfed" classes). So nowwhat I can offer:
-Time. I only work 15 days a month, currently I log into some game or another 3 hours or more on my work days and 12-18 on my off days (yep, no life).
- Balance experience. I have been a God/Immortal on 3 muds (Diku and Aber). This included balancing new skills, spells, quests, items and player classes.
- Obsession. I corrected and rewrote every help file on Burning (a Diku mud I currently play), spent countless hours writing strategies for my Guild, Kingdom, and fellow provinces in Utopia. I also took down the "unstoppable" creators of Anaroch (well with help from Futch, if any of you guys are familiar with how it used to be before they made it into a cheater's haven).
- Range of gaming experience. I've played everything from Circle muds to City of Heroes (not missing many inbetween). I believe thatoutsideviews wouldbe useful.
Anyway, there's myshort bio. Hope you pick me for the Sandbox.
