Thread: Crafting macros
With this macro. I got a friend working on WS too with a slightly higher end system getting 15 xps a second.
Translation: novice to level 1 skill = 35 - 45 minutes; level 1 to level 2 = 55 - 65 minutes; 2 to 3 = 75 - 80 minutes; 3 to 4 = 90 - 100 minutes.
In other words, Novice to Master: 1160 minutes, or19 hours and 18 minutes. Oh yeah, and about 452,400 units of steel. lol
watch your xp, it appears you are its not working but you are still getting xp, i thought the same thing..

To test your macro, do these steps independently first to verify they all works
1) open the tools
2) type "/select XXX" and verify that the correct schematic screen pop up
3) double-click load the resources
4) type "/next; /next; /createp; /createp" or "/next; /next; /next; /createp; /createp" and make sure the timer show on the tools. If it doesn't, then use the other one (eg 2 /next vs 3 /next).
Once you verify the syntax work, you can create a macro to craft one schematic AFTER the tool had been opened. MyCraftMacro: "/select XXX; /pause YYY; /next; /next; /createp; /createp" for example. The rule of thumb for the resource pause is 1 second per resources plus 1.5 second.
Then you create another macro to launch open tools sequentially. (eg /ui action toolbarSlot00; /MyCraftMacro; /pause YYY+1.5; /ui action toolbarSlot01; /MyCraftMacro; /pause YYY+1.5, etc)
The "schematics is not ready for assembly" message is when you don't have enough resource, eg you put 19 metal when it's asking for 20. The 2nd reason why it may not go is because you use the incorrect number of "/next". Remember 2 /next if you're not next to a station (no experiment) and 3 /next if you're next to one because of the experiment screen. And you need 2 /createp, not one.
Nice to see you are as happy as I was when I started using this macro. Sadly I got to 1403 before I started using it ![]()
Another change to this that some of you may want to try is this:
Add a /pause 6; to the end, and then a /uiaction to restart the F1 script recursively! This way it will just keep looping and you don't have to restart it.
To stop it, just CTL-~ or CTL-TAB to a dif toolbar with empty slots and the script will end.
Hey, when I use the /ui action toolbarslot10 it doesnt do anything, is there something I'm missing?
