As a Rifleman I would stand at a great distance and send in my droid to harvest while I move onto the next target. As a TKM when fighting lairs I could use it to harvest while I continued to fight. Just takes a bit of timing so that by the time all creatures are dead I am attacking the lair or walking away instead of having to pick among the piles of bodies for harvesting.
Now, if they increased the harvesting mod on it drastically that would make them worth using. Using it to harvest an extra 10 hides from a rancor doesnt exactly make them useful. I only usually use it when I am doing a contracts(however rare) so I can keep fighting in a high density area like north of the Smuggler Outpost on Endor. I can fight there all day without one mission terminal run. My droid assists me as I take on those excellent natural arachne lairs.
Just wish I could get the dang thing to rename... I want his title to be Master Ranger.
I named my droid Doink. It's the sound made when I kick him for running away. But then I discovered that he shouldn't be grouped

hey glad to hear you're coming back. i think i would go BH 1st because it gives you more speed than carbineer will in four boxes. and as you probably know speed is the very important for carbineers.

OK my main is MCM/MCH, I opted to get the TE instead of the Digital Download since I wanted a BARC and assumed the MCH quest on Kashyyyk was nota DD only thing. Anyway, I have recently reactivated my alt and am thinking of getting the DD for that account so I can have JTL as well as get the MCH quest (I'm still in my two week respec period) So my question is, is the quest reward for the MCH mount tradable to my main account? My impression is that it is an egg that once hatched goes into the datapad of the hatcher. Is this correct? Basically, I just want the mount on my main.

I am petty sure you can trade the egg, but I could be wrong. I've seen some for sale so maybe LOL Yeah like you I got the TE (Only one barc per character is sad and a rip-off) its just like SOE to make the only quest for a CH limited to certian people..LOL Wow

This MCH quest being digital download only really bugs me, and here's why...
I bought the digital download... so technically I should still have license rights to its exclusive content.
Later, to open an alt account, I also bought the total experience, so that I could have two active accounts.
But, since they are both installed on the same PC, their system can't handle that. Technically, legally, I have every right to that content, but I can't partake.
I really hope they do away with this approach in the future.

... sure you can. If you log in on your main account, you have the quest. Log in on your alt account, you get the BARC. You don't get both on both accounts. That's not what you paid for. You paid for 1 Total Experience and 1 Digital Download, thus you get 1 account with Total Experince activated and 1 with the Digital Download activated.
