Thread: Any Point to the 19 evasions?
Otherwise admit its nothing but speculation.
I'm going to say this as non-confrontational as I can, because that was never my intent with my original post.
Short of a red name coming out and saying, "The majority of us are focusing on JTL", you aren't going to believe me. It is speculation on my part. A very well educated guess because I have some experience with this sort of design decision. So you are right there. Happy now?
All I am doing is pointing out a perceived problem. If we admit it is a problem, then that means it can be addressed. Maybe as players we cannot do anything, maybe we can. If we can admit the devs are too over-worked and understaffed to track down bugs (such as invalid pets or 10K CL 10 abominations anyone?), we can focus our efforts in getting them the data they need to help fix things.
Or we can choose to ignore the warnings, pretend nothing is wrong, or just assume everything is A-OK and let the game go on like it is. (Kind of like what happened with Holocrons and the initial warning for the first few months they existed.)
Maybe you have failed to notice, but this game is hurting badly. I have a friends list that went from 50 people online five months ago to having 5 on a good day. The CH board which rivalled the Jedi board in posts has dwindled to nothing. Everyone I know is waiting for the Combat Balance or JTL to see if they will continue playing. There are some die-hards that aren't giving in. Some people are still happy but wondering why no one else is. We have new players. I want them to have every reason imaginable to enjoy this game and stick around.
Maybe I'm silly for actively looking for problems so they can be addressed. I'll stop pointing them out now. Go back to having fun since everything is already taken care of.
I'm sorry for raining on your parade.

Green Marine did the chef revamp, not Keladrin. Green Marine was shifted over the JTL. I am assuming he is working on the crafting portion of the game as that part was not completed at E3 and Green Marine is able to do such work as indicated by his past work. I have only heard of 3 or 4 programers' names floating around, so taking Green Marine off the live team is a big drain.
The last time I looked on the schedule there was a line about correspondance issues, so we may get a few things fixed. That is of course unless the combat balance gets too deep and the issues get cut. The new publishes are certainly not as big as they use to be. Actually they seem to have less of an impact on the game as things go on. Though the jedi publishes and combat rebalance certainly would affect the game in a big way.
