It was likely my post. It met with limited support as I recall. As most posts it goes unseen and dies in the great idea graveyard.

great idea, but as someone said.. this will sadly sink and dissapear with all other great ideas some people post!
best chance is to PM it to Tanks and if he likes it he may bring it up at a meeting or on the corrospondent forums

This would certainly be pretty cool, but I dont think it would/should be only for Bounty Hunters.

I concur, however if you read a little more closley, I did state that there would be profession specific implants, not just BH ones.

I also posted a slightly more general version of this on the DE boardsHere If you care to look at their (few) responses

If you introduce implants, it will be impossible to see anything in the cantina since every female entertainer in the metal bikini will have implants the size of Endor.....

Seriously, if I'm not mistaking the EU had mentions of cybernetics at times, all of which were illegal if not done for medical repairs (such as Luke's hand). You could replace, but not improve...

Besides, they wouldn't give us R-series droids that improved slicing because it was too game breaking, so why would they allow this? Nice idea, don't think it'll float for many reasons.
