The warren has been reduced to little more then a maze/puzzle where level 80s can wander around unmolested. This has caused a huge influx of jedi/FS players and needs to be corrected ASAP.
the warren is the least of our worries.
there are four 'content' badges available in eisley for new players (and for anyone with 15 skill points to spare).***
FOUR.
nym's badge is easier than the warren... not that THAT matters, since the new 'slayer' badges also count for content. a new player with a pal can get five content badges the first day they login... without a friend? let's say, conservatively, two days.
then master artisan. hop on a bike and ride around some POI's. wait a day, and an old man should appear.
remember, too, that new players are 'treated' to a LS duel on the tutorial station, and treated as 'special' and 'important' from the moment they login with the new noob quests.
of course, a new player still needs six unlocks, which means eighteen weeks of village phases (or more). for better or worse, that pretty much guarantees that new players will subscribe to SWG for four months.
*** this statement assumes that the fix on TC now actually allows for all four Eisley badges... formerly, only two of the four worked. I'm actively testing this now.
