One thing I noticed about a few of the Chefs over on the Chef boards, they don't seem to have a problem with making non-BE VB and selling it for 75k,but areselling BE-VB for 300k (mostly, but sometimes even more).
Seems to me that adding the BE tissues adds one extra step to the process (feel free to correct me if I have that wrong). So for the tissues that they want to pay 25k (or less, which wouldn't even cover costs depending on where you source your resources)for, they stand tomake an extra 225,000 over non-BE VB? They then turn around and blame us for this increase??!
I realise that not all Chefs say they charge these prices, but from what I've seen from first hand knowledge, these are prices that are being charged on Ahazi as of today (was a guy hawking it at the Coronet starport for that).
Edit: My bad, I forgot these crates are in 25's, not 50's.
I actually sat down and worked it all out in Excel (My time to make these Vs what I can sell the raw materials for), and basically, I'll be selling at:
Light - 24,375
Med - 37,500
Heavy - 48750
Mind you, this doesn't factor my time in in any meaningful way beyond a decent markup price, so once I figure a decent algorythm out for that I'll adjust these figures (I'm currently working off 50%, of which 25% is profit margin and 25% is a "my time" margin). It may be once I work that out, the price will go down, but it could well go up as wellconsidering "my time" is worth 48k an hour in mission payouts alone, I thinkthis pricing isa bargan.

I am selling 25 crate (370+ / 40+ minutes/18 uses) for 90k on Farstar. Its selling like hell. I get most of my meat from my pa. The other resources aren't too hard to get and i am a BE myself. That way i am making a nice profit, but i hope the sells will slow down a bit so i can focus on other food a bit more. If they don't i will raise my prices a bit, but i am worried about charging that much
