Thread: Publish 17 Cloning Changes: the consolidated short-course.
Sparc, it may be an anomaly from using pre-curb DNA. Try mixing pre with post and see if that works better.
Can't spell today...

Well, that blows me out of the water...how did you get over 1149 hardiness? Dang.
check the spreadsheet. elite mobs can generate capped DNA stats (1000), and assembly adds a bonus. experiment on the stat, however, and you're back to 1000.

you're reading it right. one half of one percent.
I was banging out some new clones today, though, and I've seen some higher numbers.
CL55, 8914 health, 45 regen, armor 2124, to hit 95, defense 174, state resist 40.5%, crit hit 1.52%, crit save 1.5%, aggro bonus 2.77%, damage 68-302.
Combining your spreadsheet and the stats of the creatures I made, looks like armor = 6 x fortitude
On the 14 creature's stats I have, only one doesn't exactly match. It means that for a 10 000 armor (equivalent to 60% resist) we need to hit 1666 fortitude ![]()
Also appears that health would be approximatively 8 x hardiness.

the issue with armor is one I've mentioned in the long ramblings of the 'consolidated short course', 'cept you went and put a number to it.
the weekend is my work week, so I'll be dodging some responsibility and getting ingame when I can, then go full-bore midweek when I enjoy MY weekend, getting more data.

I know. I used pre-CU deeds to sample from. They generate 1000 Hardiness DNA when the pre-CU health is 9000 or so. After combining 5 such samples I can get the hardniess to 1149. Thats 1000 from the samples and 14.99% assembly bonus. I have done this with 3 seperate pets and each pet has come out with 7568 health....this didnt make sense.
So, I went and tried a direct Blurrg raptor clone. 800 hardiness converted to 6767 health......something doesnt seem right. Maybe the pre-CU Deeds produce bugged DNA.....
Anyone that has done some more testing on the new system and found some kind of formula(s)?
The notes I've taken down so far do not help much yet, I ve tried to find a way to influence the CL and concentrated on psychological and agressive profile, but the results are not satisfying.

This is a blatant descrimation to all .pdf'ers and I think we, as the BE community, should stand up to this outrage and force lammergeier out of office unless he agrees to give us a .pdf file version of his spreadsheet. No Bio-engineer should ever have to put up with such nonsense. Nonense, I say!
Who's with me!
If you don't want to pay for Excel, go to www.openoffice.org and download the free OpenOffice suite. It's compatible with Word, & Excel. I use it all the time.
