Wow, the ones I had heard of before didn't have any mod to min damage, and were a full 1.0 second delay. So that would make the one you found a "good" one, but still pretty crappy.

They look like stacks of hides, but have stats built into them. Wouldnt look too cool tho =)

I believe that they can be used as a component in Melee Weapon making (swords or something).

Does anyone know if theres any special kind of rancor or something that drop teeth as items. I've been looking for a rancor tooth and have killed countless rancor in my search but always get nothing. Has anyone ever looted one? I hear about them, but like everything else, i never get any loot.

At present, they take the place of a sword core in a sword. Unfortunately, the stats on them are worse than the sword cores a master WS can make.

I'm a Master WS on Chilastra. Used a Rancor Tooth the other day as an experiment. (Not usually a sword maker) Anyways, I can make better on my own. Much better.

Rancor Teeth in general are pretty worthless to a WS Master.

If the devs change things so that rancor teeth are crafted into the sword core component (like krayt tissue is in firearms) instead of replacing it, they will be worth significantly more. You'd see some really bad assed 2H curved swords then, oh yeah. =)

Are there any other lootable weapon components besides Rancor teeth and Krayt tissue?

Do Kimogilas give tissue as well?, would Maulers give teeth?
