not a swordsman, but i am a master ch and it seems to only be when the pet is grouped.

What are rancor teeth used for?, pardon the noobieness.

Ive Killed around 25 rancors solo, pet ungrouped, and no teeth whatsoever. Killed Ancient Bull Rancors, Rancors, Rancor Youths, Bull Rancors, Mutant Rancors, the whole works, none at ALL. If I am just having bad luck let me know.

Same, have killed many rancors.. nada yet. also i noticed when grouped, i get no credits from the corpse looted.

i don't knwo what you guys problem are with tthis looting thing.

We went out and killed every rancor wecould find we probably killed about i dont' know maybe 130 or so and he first like 40 nothing droped then i got grenades from oe hich i was like what's this. the i got rancor bile then my friend got a pistol from them then about i think it wa the 80t one we killed it droped like 7 rancor teeth. i was like yes then after that they were droping like crazy they droped rancor hide a few of them and two more droped rancor teeth i think it wsas ike 4 fon both of them. And i even looted leatery hide. not rancor hid lethery hide like the stuf you harvest but i got 300 hide from that and anouther200 from havesting the hide.

It's all random what you will get but ifyou stay out there long enough you will find it. an just for your info we went in a group of four or and sometime three because one guy kept getting kicked of cuz he was in the middl of the hurrican and kept lossing power. But we were grouped with lons of pets and we didn't have a problem looting it. and the tim i got the rancor teeth was when i looted all not went into the box and looted them by hand.

the one's that droped were from normal rancors bulls and enraged rancors the enraged rancors drop more items i believe it's where i got the grenades the rancor bile and the two loots with the 4 on them at a time time. so don't get discourage just go out there and lokill loot all the rancors but focus on the enrage i really believe they drop more.

Still noone has answered my question lol. What exactly is this group loot bug? Will it not let you "loot all"? Will the loot not even show up in the mobs inventory? If it does can't i just use the normal "Loot" option and take it directly from it's inventory?

From what I understand, if a member of the group is out of range then loot does not function, but you won't know it.

LOL last night me n my buddy went rancor hunting and i got 6 teeth off the first one i killed

yeah to bad i found out rancor teeth ar horrible don't bother trying to get hem there advance cores weapon smiths make are a whole lot better. stay away fromrancr teeth they are not good. I'm kicking myslelf right now because i stocked up oi them before i found out if they were actually good. man why did i do tht

so i got some today ... thinking that they went into blade vibro units ..... well they dont fit..... so then i tried them in sword cores and re-enforcement cores.....dont fit ..... i talked to some other master weaponsmiths and they thought that they were used in sword cores....but they hadnt used them

any help?

they are sword cores, they do not go into sword cores. could you please post stats of your normal sword core and stats of the rancor teeth plz?

Thanks. Btw one of them is colored yellow but the stats are exactly the same as the others.

They're useless, they replace sword cores in crafting but sword cores have much better stats.
