In reguards to the bird movement speed, I've very sure that any of the larger cat bodies used by gurrcat, gurreck, narglatch ect.. are able to keep up with just about any of the fliers except for the peko peko style ones which have a habit of almost teleporting vast distances.

I actually had a wild Radiant Lantern Bird fly along next to my Swoop for a good radar length or three the other day. None of the wild Gurrecks have kept up with it yet...

I was a little disappointed when I fist learned how BE actually worked. I was hoping for a system similar to Impossible Creatures where you could make a Cameino (Camel cross Rhino) or a Whalephant (Whale cross Elephant). The graphics would be a cross of both creatures as well. It's probably a good thing they didn't do the system like that. Just look at the issues we have with a much simpler system

I want one of these puppies as a pet http://www.swgcreatures.com/detail.asp?creatureID=380

I've heard rumorsthey are a rare baby now (even though they are listed as Babies: No on swgcreatures), but I'd settle for a Screecher too http://www.swgcreatures.com/detail.asp?creatureID=376

Yeah, I have +25 mask scent from clothing, I would quite happily get crates of food that added a further 10 or 15 on top of that, for me to use whenever necessary without having to go to a town to find another player.

You forgot that no single skill or defencecan be enhanced more than +25. That means if you have +10 normally then with any enhancers you can only hit +35. If you have +100 then you can only hit +125.

Makes me laugh when people go around desperately wanting to find these rare babies when you can just ask a BE to go copy one for you. Only drawback is that we don't have mantigrue skins so it's not a complete duplicate.

Well, as far as chef additives go, I still remain pretty synical about the whole thing. In order for this to be a viable market, the number of chefs (real chefs, not holo ones) would probably have to grow by 10x or more. I just don't see that happening as doctors have become THE buffing class in the game without question, and then when you consider their other abilities aside from buffing I don't see many people choosing chef over doctor/medic any time soon.

The difference is you can't put a doctor in your backpack. I've never actually grouped with a doctor - the only time I get buffs at all is if a friend logs in her second account and I travel to wherever she is to get buffed. Food is portable and it's easier to get re-buffed when you die (or have to log out for a while). Yeah, I could go to Coronet and get buffed for 6K I suppose. To be honest I don't tank, so a few foods that help my action and mind pools work fine.

I'm pretty excited about the chef changes myself - enough to grind out master chef with my tailor. Money is easy to get in this game (ridiculously so), so I do things more for the fun of it. I'll be able to test out first hand whether the BE additives are good, or a waste of time.

As a CH (50k from master) I'd back you guys all the way for geting birds. I'd kill for a decent bird that could tank and keep up with my swoop. none of the cats can keep up with me unless I decide to downgrade back to a speeder. I have a lantern bird from endor and an ancient reptilian flyer from dathomir (wich has no datapad icon BTW). both can keep up with my swoop but unfortunatly both are equaly worthless in a fight. no armor and low kenetic resists on them, in fact I can think of only 1 flying monster that even has light armor and they are kenetic vulnerable. haveing to drop a camp every mission gets rather dull after a while and I would love to have a tank I could just leave out.

To Upgrade something implies that you are adding too, enhancing, and fixing the thing that you are upgrading. The CU does not do this, it is not adding too, enhancing, or fixing the combat system that is in place, it is replacing the innovative SWG system with the generic one used by its competitors. Be honest and stop calling it the CU, Call it the CR (combat replacement) instead
