Thread: Pet Pricing

This is true, that's why I only make creatures to order. As far as pricing, I charge pretty strictly a 1k per CL fee, though I will make discounts for people who want multiple pets, and some of the lower CL creatures I charge a flat 5k rate for, as well as for statues.

But then... given that I have to go and try and sample DNA from at the very least gurrecks, if not actual rancors, in order to make decent rancors and gurrcks of my own, and the fact that after one, maybe two attempts at getting a sample these vreatures *will* attack me, and kill me, I don't feel at all bad about charging 50k cr for a Rancor that I died five times to be able to make.

the best way to help bioengineers is to continue charging 25-35k for pets that are inferior to the ones they create

1k per CL is how I price the higher end creatures. But the non-CH pets i sell for 5-7k depending on what it is.

Toxic Merek Battlelord - 45k

Graul Mauler - 20k

Bloodseeker Mite - 20k

Merek Assassin - 20k

Delerious Merek Avenger - 30k

Cowardly Gurreck - 20k

Gurreck - 15k

Hanadak Rock Smasher - 20k

Blood Stained Merek - 20k

Merek Cavern Creeper - 25k

Bile Drenched Quenker - 30k

Mountain Krevol - 11k

Rock Beetle - 9k

These are the prices I use. They allow me to sell the pets and move on. Sure you could charge more, but you would be waiting longer, and taking up space in your datapad. This is on the Sunrunner server.

I totally agree. I have been trying to get my friend to create a Gurreck for me that has a higher 'to hit' rating... no dice. Sticking with my 'natural' Gurreck for now.

I still think they should change the BE profession to be more of a "natural pet modifier" profession. They could still create pets but have certain skills that allowed them to make the natural pets stronger, faster, more ham, better resists. It would almost be like taking your pet to get sliced. They could implant bionic parts, etc... The possibilities are endless. Doing this would also make BE's in demand. CH's from everyone would be bringing their Grauls, Rancors, Gurrecks to get a certain resist or ham, or dmg pumped up. The only down side to this is that the Nerfinators (Devs) think that creature are already too powerful, which kind of ruins the whole idea of making them stronger...

I agree with many of the above posts, I dont even bother dealing with the hassle of selling pets anymore. We can make quicker money doing 20k missions and such. Now while Im on those missions if I happen to see a baby I could sell I go ahead and tame it. Otherwise I dont bother. If we are so ticked about every person in the game becoming a novice creature handler why are we selling pets? We dont have to.

I have a simple pricing plan, it's 1c per HAM point, and 150c per command trained IF I have to train it then, if Im just sitting around and training pets I have I charge 100 per command. Andtrip coast.

Now, if somebody comes and asks me to train their pets for them, its normaly 250c per command, unless they want them all, then its a flat 2000c.

As it stands, I dont even wear my MCH title, I just use Creature Trainer, keeps me from getting all the Hey, where is and hey how do I questions , and Ive never been tipped less than 4000c for naming and fully training a pet.

So, It depends on how you value yourself and your time, If Im doing something, its more, if Im loafing and chatting its less, but Never so little that I feel Im ripping myself off and No, I havent had anyone complain about the 1c per HAM and 150c per command, for a fully trained Beetle thats only 8kc

This pricing is Only for non-ch pets though.

Im quite sure nobody would pay the 31kc plus trip cost that a grual mauler wouldbe.
