Thread: Auctioning our UberosiTea MegaHAM NON CH Pets on Chilastra
30K is a great price. I've never sold a CL10 animal for more than 20K.
I figure it this way, I go to Endor, take an 11K mission for venom filled. Sample them to death or just kill the buggers. Boom, trip is paid for. Milk on Endor is good on my server as well as the eggs. Its one stop shopping. I actually get home having made money. The animals I create are icing on the cake. Gravy money.
You can't compare an animal to a harvester or a suit of armor. Its a weapon. I can buy a very nice scout blaster for about the same money a CL10 animal costs. You have to purchase a buttload of pet stims for the animal. You don't have to do that for the blaster.
Besides, its all monopoly money anyway. ![]()

Ahhhh. 1 Mill in sales a day. Ok. That's very nice. How many pets do you move per day off your vendors?
I've visited many BE vendors around Gorath and the prices are all over the board. 50K for this one, 20K for one just as good and on a vendor two doors down.
Thats what i love about the player economy, Santini. Most people dont study prices. They buy for convenience so they can get back to grinding. I was Master Merchant and I got there by Buying Low and Selling High. Also by advertising. I spend 30 mins a day spamming for new clients.
The result is client base is constantly growing, referrals are tremendous. I sold 14 pets this past weekend plus 100k in pet supplies. Many customers buy more pets than they can call, so I assume they are buying as gifts for friends.
I have a MCH stationed outside the tent to do training. Customers really appreciate this service and it gives us a chance to become friends and ask for referrals.
When I spam, I say "Send EMAIL for WP, pls do not send tells." That way I have a constantly growing catalog of interested ppl to which I can send email updates on new products, sales, etc.
It's not easy to get ppl to come to a PA city on Rori, off the beaten track, but if someone takes the time to send an email and gets a response with WP, they will usually check it out. This way, I know that I am in their datapad.
Once they have made the trip, they usually buy from me and my guildmates.
I never mention prices in my emails. I just say "a wide range of prices." Which is true. I sell 2k ham pets to noobs for 10-20k all the time. They tell their friends and they come back when they are richer.
