Thread: Factory problems
I think, in an effort to fix their screwed up item database, they've taken some Draconian steps on item limitations. Not only are your output hoppers limited to 100, but all houses no matter the size are limited to 50 items. Then, and they've acknowldged this as a bug, a crate of 50 in the house counts as, guess what, 50 items.
Again, this appears to be a server-based problem. I haven't explored it intensely -- but it LOOKS like the "East Coast" servers DON'T have broad factory issues, while the "West Coast" servers DO.
Also, crates don't take up the volume of their total content. Theyalways take up 5 volume. The problem is that many crafters store dozens of crates in their houses. These people are heavily affected by the shift to a 50-unit max, and that's why factory crate size is changing.
I am also unable to get my factory to work i had it make 100 bio effect, then removed it from the output hopper and tried to make chem release, and it use materials to make 1 and stoped tried changing scematics and also making new ones and still nothing.... I hope they fix this soon I have 3 backorders to fill!!!

Yeah my factory doesn't work either. Same issue as Ywai. I have 0% in the output, nothing but the required materials in the input, and the proper schematic. It starts up, takes away one set of resources, then stops saying nothing was produced. I just plopped it down today and it worked the first time, for 2 crates of BEC's, but when I changed the schematic, it no longer worked. I had to make my stim E's by hand. Fortunately I got the crated BEC's done so I could make them.
Hope they fix this soon.

yup, started factories and made 1 crate... then nothing works

All three of my factories started working again after server reset for patch. Will see if they just make 1 batch of items and get stuck or is the problem fixed. What worries me is that I finished a run of 110 stim-Cs and it again stopped at exactly 100 made even though there were components for another 5 in the hopper and the schematic was good for about 10 more uses. The exact same thing happened yesterday with some CRMs made 100 out of 400 then stopped and wouldnt budge. I hope this isnt some kind of stealth nerf/fix to limit schematics to 100 uses.

I have a factory that produces 0 items.
I put in a brand new schematic, all the right ingredients in order of the list, and press start. 3 minutes or so later, I get a message that the factory stopped after producing 0 items.
I check and it ate the resources for one item, so it pulls correctly, and one use is taken from the schematic, but it stops with no item produced.
I really want to make some nice items, but I need the synth cloth to be identical, and that means a working factory. Any idea how to fix this problem?

if you wait for the server to reset you might get another run in...
otherwise redeed the factory and that usually fixes it
Does anyone know if the admin features have been fixed on the factories...?
I got some weird emails last night saying my factory has run out of resources and another one saying it has stopped after producing 0 items... thing is, I wasn't anywhere near my factory yesterday (it's 15 minutes NE of Theed and I was taking care of business on Dathomir)... I'm figuring one of the admins was trying to run something without mentioning it to me but not entirely sure... I didn't have time to check with them before I had to log off but will check with them when I log back into the game... lol, I'm hoping that's what was happening or else I'm getting some really whacked out emails... or maybe a ghost is trying to run reinforced fiber panels... heh
