Thread: Factory problems
I put several crates on the bazaar.
Er.....
I spoke too soon again. I did find a way to empty the output hopper entirely (I was able to stash everything on my vendor, then move it all into the stockroom) -- and that fixed the problem. Factory plugging away again.
Again, thanks - I don't think I would have thought of the output hopper being the issue without help!

Actually, it's still running. Anyone find out whether they take items out of crates yet?
Another nice patch add: the input hoppers on crafters are back. And what should I find in the input hopper on my crafter? The resources I dumped in there -- and lost -- weeks ago! A nice surprise.
I've tried emptying my output hopper completely but it still just fails to create a single object but eats a set of resources each time it tries it. Anyone got any other ideas what to try (keep in mind I have the ingredient hopper half full and my inventory/house/bank are all full due to having to empty the output hopper).
The input hoppers DO count against the house item count. I tried to put something in, and got the 'house full' error message.
Update: I spoke too soon. My factory made one crate of LSs, and then kaput. Now it won't do anything. I tried emptying the hopper, taking the resource inputs in and out of the input hopper, swapping out the schematic -- everything. Nothing works.
Also, "remove schematic" doesn't work now for me. Don't know if it's a general problem or not.
Sigh.
I have now officially tried everything short of redeeding, and nothing will make my factory go. It's kaput.
Sigh.
I can't remove a schematic, but that's probably an oversight of some kind. I can replace it with a new one to get the last schematic, at least.
Having the same problem with factory. As near as I can tell post patch the factory will make 1 batch of items and then stop working when you try to change schematic. the only workaround I found that actually works is to re-deed and place factory back. Then it works for 1 more batch of items and you gotta re-deed again. I have 3 food factories and it happens to all of them everytime.
I also observed 2 other interesting things. The remove schematic option no longer works. It used to work for me before patch. I can still put in a new schematic and old one gets transferred back to datapad but I susped the factory gets bugged in process. Same happens when schematic runs out and factory tried to destroy it now. Cant do it and it gets stuck. Re-deeding works since that places factory in a clean slate.
I also run into another VERY worrying bug/nerf. I made a schematic for 1000 CRMs and started a run of about 400. It made exactly 100 (exactly) then it stopped (this never happened before) as if the schematic run out. Then it proceeded to get bugged and wouldnt make anything else till I re-deeded it.
