Thread: who is gonna buy your stuff when 99.9% of CH quit the game?
actually, now that i look at it from a BEs perspective this seems nice, still plenty of CH power horaders (people who get the class for the power, not for the cool pet handling) and prehaps with new, better than pre-nerf maulers but CL60 pets only 50% of CH will leave (the GM dabblers) and the other 40% of the dabblers will just get master and a CL60 pet, and the 10% of CH who play the proffession for the coolness of pets probably wont quit, besides, everyone will need a woolamander butler at thier door ![]()
I really doubt that 99.9% of the creature handlers are going to quit, but I do think theres going to be a large exodus from the "dabbling" end of the class as the pay off for limited skill speccing is greatly dimished and lower level pets arent going to be nearly as good. I do see master CH poweras staying relative, after all, its not just ch pets getting adjusted, its all creatures getting adjusted.
Overall, this will make it easier for people without pets to play the game in the mid level missions and content, as many of the below lvl40 creatures are being brought down to levels where a pet isnt needed to fight them (at least in theory). And though I have my feet in both the ch and be camps, this isnot a bad thing for the game, even though I think theres going to be some pain in both classes for a while.
I'm a retired BE.
Currently on my way to master CH.
I will buy pets from BE any day of the week. Not because they are better...But because half the time, I am too lazy to go out and tame them myself. lol
Seriously tho. I like the BE pets.
Only had a challenge with 1 BE that couldn't do simple math. (5 DNA Samples times 250 pets equals 125,000 samples needed according to him)
Anyway...BE's will always get my money.
