you got to take it out, at least on a daily basis. This helps them grow. And some with really low levels wont change levels till full grown.

Sorry if this question has been asked a billion times. I read the FAQ and guide but I must have missed where it tells how long it takes for you pet to mature.
So any way can someone tell me.
1. Do pets have to be out and in use to grow?
2. How long does it take a pet to mature?
3. Can someone deathblow your pet and kill it Permanently? This would stink as I love my pets just as in real life.
So far this is the profession I love the most, even though I just started it. I don't think I will ever drop it.
One other thing. I was on Dantoonie the other day looking for a new pet to tame when I came across a NPC farm with pens for pets and such. How cool would it be if they would let us have a farm. I would gladly use all 10 slots for this.

I beleive that pets grow inside and outside of your datapad. I can not remember how long it takes for a baby to mature, like 5 days I think. I have never lost a pet to a deathblow. Hope this helps.

I think pet growth depends on the pet. I had 2 klikniks (level 19) that matured in less than 4 days. I have a maumet (gorilla looking thing) that I have had for 9 days now and it still is not matured. It's a level 20 pet.

Ok, so all my pets I was growing were set to their maximum level. I was worried because their size had not changed from when they were growing. I went out and tapped a Cu Pa lair, got 2 babies to spawn and tamed them. When I get back from class, I'm gonna try and get 1 to it's maximum XP and see if that doesn't effect the size. I hope I'm worrying for no reason, cause it would be great if I was. I made and tamed a CL70 Bantha last night, was CL7, and now it's a CL70 the size of a CL7.
I'm not gonna wig-out yet because this may be how it is intended now. If the Cu Pa I train grows in size, then I'll assume my other growing critters will as well.
