Yes for Krayts, I would agree with intimidate and blind. You need to cut down the damage done to you, the pet, and your party because it'll be a long fight. Poison on a Krayt is a joke. It does only 110 per tick at best and will wear off before you notice any ham dropping.
And don't depend on your pets to be the damage dealers because their damage is also very petty to the krayt. Your damage dealers will be the combat classes I hope you brought with you.
