Thread: What's your BE Template????

As of 2 days ago, this was basically the same as mine except I had 0040 Artisan and 2040 Scout.
..... but I ran out of vendor space. So I dropped to TKA: 4440 and adding some Merchant. Hope I can still kill stuff efficiently :/

It was very tough to decide. I was going to give up the meditation line and in retrospect I should've. My reasoning at the time was that, I wanted to get easy DNA without having to buy buffs.
When I do this I need meditate and powerboost.
... but my stats are migrated for about 400 on health and action and maxed on mind. If I migrate my stats more evenly, I could probably survive without powerboost. Guess I'll test tonight
... and yah, I came up 3 skill points short of picking up novice merchant. I could've dropped to 1040 scout, but can a BE survive without Mask Scent? haha

Wow!! Thanks for all the posts guys and gals. A lot of helpful insight to all aspects of augmenting the BE prof. Good stuff. Thanks again and keep posting if you like.

MBE/Mscout/Ranger 0/0/3/0-Brawler 4/0/0/0 TK 0/0/3/4 (Please remember this is off the top of my head ... I haven't finished the TK yet but that's my plan. Meditate 4 and damage 3. and the brawler is in unarmed. I am a pet DNA finder and proud of it. I don't need no stinkin tissues... they don't hurt though hehe.

Here is a template I came up with that I am going to be. Master BE, Merchant 3xx1, scout 4xx4, medic xxx4, (artisan xx4x), and fencer 44xx. That brings you to exactly 250 sp's. I can have 3 vendors with about 1100 items (i believe), planetary advertising, good mask scent, can still survey for flora resources to set up harvesters and 44xx fencer can deal out enough damage and those two trees are the ones that give defenses and decent attacks. I wanted a template that I could still vend and no point in vendors really if you can't put em on map. It isn't as good as a master combat prof, but i wanted vendors and surveying... so ya gotta cut corners. Hope this helps.

only problem with that is you need hunting 4 rather than survival 4 on the scout tree to be novice be.

Master Pistoleer(Short ideal range of pistols is great for when a creature you're sampling aggros you)

That's a nice template imo.
I think I was, Mrifles,MBE, 4040 scout, medic 4004, CH 0004. Tho, that was before the vendor nerf ![]()
There are many templates that I want to try with BE. One I am currently considering is MBE, CH 4004, Medic 0044, Scout 4040, Artisan 0032and the rest pumped into TKA. If the devs dont nerf our ability to craft low-levelpets then I reckon I will be able to pull this off ![]()

I don't know why I keep Artisan. I should drop it to get more medic, maybe use better stims.
Surveying?
If you don't need surveying then drop it and pick up medic xx4x. You can get Stim Es that have been 'dumbed' down so that you can use them.
