Sure made my guidies day. Was able to harvest 2k eggs and 2k milk in about 2 hours. Just ran around. Best pull of eggs I had was 187 from one lair. 13 drawls on that one. I wonder if the ammount of drawls has anything to do with how old the lair is. Need to test that.

I will be hunting tonight for the first time since the new patch. I have always accessed the lair manually because it was only once. So now, with this repeat harvesting, it begs the question is there a command for search lair?

I saw the same thing over the past few nights on Endor. I got over a 1K units of fish off of Marauders and Ewoks.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a thread (or answer) on the most efficient way to harvest eggs? Certain lairs best? Macro's?
All you experienced egg harvesters out there, I am looking to get some together, thanks.

Oh man, that is excellent! Finally, it looks like fish and eggs are becoming viable bulk resources for our chefs and BE's, hooray!!

Fish, I'm still hopeful that we'll be able to get some kind of fish trap / fishing net / uber-fish-stun-baton-dynamite-'em-out-of-the-river capability as part of our revamp. I really enjoy fishing. But as it stands now, even ENJOYING it, it's kind of tedious to do. And I LIKE it... and I still think it gets pretty boring, pretty quickly. I don't mind fishing, but when I'm having to decide between finishing up a village quest or fishing, or hunting things like voritor bones for the 40cpu offer I have for 'em and fishing, I'm not fishing. At least not right now, until I get bored with hunting or whatever.
I'd actually be happy if any of the following happened:
1) increase fish yields just like was done for shellfish, eggs, etc
2) introduce some method to "bulk harvest" fish. I don't want an unattended harvester that runs 24x7, but maybe a trap or a net that I can deploy when I'm there camping or fishing, and will supplement my yield. Or at least let me cast the net and bring in 4-6 fish, instead of 1 every 20-30 seconds as it is now. Let it decay after a day or after some short time if I leave it unattended. ANYTHING to bring 'em in just a little bit faster.
3) someone else mentioned the concept of deep sea fishing in another thread... I'd LOVE it if I could drive my AV21 north on Naboo or south on Endor into the seas, and just get out in the middle of nowhere and fish. For bigger stuff. THAT would be great fun.

well, just last night, I was testing out the new lair search option. It says " check again, you might have missed something. Well I checked again, and again, and again.. totaling 7 times I took eggs from one lair, I ended up with 96 eggs from one lair. I think that is a great improvement.

are certain lairs better to use? or it doesnt matter?
Is there a macro for searching lairs that is possible?

it doesn't matter what lair you search, just make sure that the lair is searchable. the macro that I use is press the ~ button then the number 3 and that will search the lair.

Yep, eggs are much easier to get now. You can usually search a lair 3-4 times now, 90% of the time pulling eggs. I actually pulled 50 units of egg from one lair tonight.
