People able to /tame or sample pets that you have dropped in your house.

You got the other ones I noticed.

Just to clarify, this applies to BE created pets.

To the original poster 4 and 5 are not bugs, it is the way it is intended, of this a am very certain the devs said that in beta. Geeze are you trying to get an already broken profession nerfed? Also sampling your created pets should yeild more xp because it takes time to make one alot of time if you include the dna sampling and the harvesting time trust me just find a herd of fambaa's and just sample the whole herd way more xp in a shorter amount of time and they are non aggressive and fairly easy to find. This will especially be true when the higher lvl creatures actually give higher lvl dna.To add another bug and to not just tear you opinions apart, when you give your creatures to ch's it limit's their active pets to two this is a bug and should be looked at.

Taqwus, if you made pets have a mortality rate that would be yet another nerf and a bad one. Also if you make CH pet's equal to what we can create then how does that help at all? We NEED and SHOULD be able to make better pets, it is what we do and the description of our profession. It is posts like this that causes nerfes and I feel that they heve been pulling that bat out far too much lately. Our profession does not need nerfed it needs to be fixed.

Yes, I realize not all of these are necessarily bugs, but personally I'm not really too worried about it.

I know some of you feel 1300 xp for sampling that bearded jax in your inventory is worth it for all the toil and hard work you are doing and even if you have DNA sampling IV before you have Cloning II that's fine with you. Not everyone agrees with everyone else so I understand.

The 1300 xp from sampling a homemade pet is obviously a bug. Developers do not make things that easy. You already got sampling xp for the DNA used to make those. And it SOO doesn't matter. The DNA sampling branch goes up plenty fast just doing the normal play of sampling creatures.

About #4. While what you say is mostly true, it's not completely without risk. After novice BE, you do have worry about the creature going aggro on you. And if you do it in a social group of creatures, that often leads to some serious running away for your life.

I have read a post that said a chef was able to use their bio-strength enhancer. I gave one to a chef and they said it didn't do anything. So, I dunno about that. It just could be the person I gave it to didn't know what to do with it. Some descriptions are definitely needed. Much is definitely needed.

Good list. It appears the devs are taking a priority in exploits first. So, I guess we can expect things to be taken away before we can expect new things to be given to us. I'm sticking with it and just going to be optimistic that it's not all for nothing. With my past experiences with MMORPGs, I should know better than that tho.

Ok. I just made novice CH today and this is what I found:

I tamed a dewback (non-exploited) that I created. Yes, it was a "fraidy-cat" and ran most of the time, but it did (solo)kill a few dark blue fynocks (or a nock thing), but I only got 1 point of CH XP. When I was in beta and my creature solo'ed another creature (especially one that was above it's level) I got like 200 CH XP. Can someone else check this vs a non-BE baby creature?

1. Agreed. This is no biggy for advanced users, but its still an annoyance. At any rate, you probably want a home-made macro for sampledna anyway. Something like /st;/sampledna;/si;

2. Agreed, but considering how things get WORSE the higher you are in the sampling skill, the exploit balances itself off ( *cough* animals get pissed when you succeed on a sample *cough* )

3. Agreed. Thoroughly bugged. A wonder something so blatant even made it into release.

4. Trust me, you DO NOT want the animal's friends to attack you. They dont KNOW what you're doing. Its bad enough the animal itself gets pissed more than half the time at DNA III on a success, which takes forever anyway, without having the entire pack attack you.

5. I actually like this one. I'm sure you're familiar with the time involved in hand-gathering DNA samples...

6. Never payed much attention to that.

7. Never payed much attention to that either.

8. I agree that this should be changed. Reward vs risk. Try to sample from a red con and you might get a nice sample, or you might get attacked when you succeed and not make it alive.

9. I always hand-pick the samples with the appropriate stats for each profile when making a template for a clone i want to keep as a pet. Never had any odd results.

10. Dont have experimentation yet, but I do hear that on a constant basis about it. Not to mention the atrociously high failure rates. Just not worth it at the moment.

11. Agreed.

12. No idea.

13. Thoroughly agree.

To add a few to the list:

14. In relation to #5, tissue engineering items, or at least the micronutrient, dont have you lose thematerials on a critical failure.

15. Most of the clones past clone engineering I are weaker than previous ones, IF they are even tamable. Dont have the list of the clones that are pathetically weak and/or untamable no matter what your taming skill is, though.

Hi I agree to alot of the bug list. but am pation to moste of it hopin git to be better in the ner feauture

now what I heard they where sopose to put in was experimentation on Creature level. so that one could make higher CL pets like Rancor (50) into lower CL like (40) would be easier to sell. I saw that this was planed befor Player City and Mounts patch but was gone after the patchwas put onlline!!

What happend did they take it out all togheter or just waiting for the right time???

The dna sampling of dead animals would be nice. becaus doing a whole day of DNA samling is not waht I call fun. and yea I think that's wy I bught this game...... (plz consider some of the stuff and ideas we poor lossers post her)

Talking about balance in the game the tissue thing is pointless pooooooorrrr Chefs what to do. We have alot of tissues we could sell to Chefs so we could make monney and they could make som food that actually worked. the tissues we sell to Tailors actually has a meaning and works. not that I have made much but all that they are intrested inn , well you have to be a MASTER BE.. this is no fun at all when you start as be how are you gonna get the money to grind xp when you have to go out day after day getting the samples.. and you get no monney exept the mission monney and we all know thats not much.

Hers how I did it. I let BE be and made Master CH my priorty. did a bunch of missions whit friends and guild members. got lots of monney selling the meat, hide, i got from harvesting. saved alll the meat i clould. because you'r gonna need alot. Then I started grinding up be.... I got the meat I hd like 60K meat. and I harvested from a Automated Flora Farm that I bought thx to my frien Aweho Arcitecht. and harvested flora food. about 120K hehe. now start making micronutrient. they give you lousy 105xp per unit . so you make ingamemacro to get the template up then you hire a dud whit no life to click like hell. to get the resourcess in and a ingame macro to finsh the crafting whit Practis mode on. then craft the millon buggers.

this is a boring path and should be a thing you should do when you are offline not wen you have time to paly a game because you want to have fun.

so Dev guys if you ever read this. just becaus we dont cry out the most dosen't make us less payers.

Greetings from a frustratedt BE/CH
