Thread: Another holocron BE
Greek - Do me a favour and read this part from the original post
"You actual bio engineers that choose this for your characterare freakin crazy, this has got to be the worst most useless profession in the game."
(a) Im apparently crazy
(b) The profession I have chosen is the most useless in the game.
I take exception to that and wont apologise for it.
To be quite honest if you turn this on its head what is crazier? the above or
(a) Taking up a profession which you have absolutely no respect for or interest in to grind through it as quickly as possible when told to by a holocron to
(b) Eventually, hopefully, somehow, maybe become a Jedi initiate which as we currently stand is the actual most useless profession in the game.
Its not a contest from where im standing.

I have made in the last 8 weeks approx 10 million credits selling bio stuff on my vendor. Hardly useless, but extremely frustrating. Dont support stupidity 
Thank you for your sympathy, ill bump up your stars. I do feel sorry for those that are holocroned into the BE class, you poor bastards have no clues what your getting into. For those that say Chef grinding is as bad as BE grinding....let me just say one thing: DNA SAMPLING. nuff said.
Alot of the animosity is not really your fault, my fellow BE's and myself are all just a bit edgy right now due to lack of contact from the powers that be.

Working hard to collect resources to make a pet stim then experimenting on it hoping to get a great success which makes the stats decrease crazy? Who you calling crazy man???
Is the original poster pointing out the obvious? Probably. Do I feel sorry for him? No. Anyone that follows a blue glowy cube into giving up a working profession to master BE is a fool. Do the rest of you need to chill a bit? You decide that for yourself.

I second that. I enjoy BE its the only profession i haven't mastered. And besides if all my pets are better thena a CH's whats the incentive for me to drop?.....besides the fact that i am mostly a veterinarian.....lol

I think one of the surest ways to have the bio-engineers up in arms with the flamethrowers is to say that our profession sucks. The only thing possibly worse is to say, "Oh, the Holocron told me to do it...How can I get through this profession the fastest so I can drop it and do what the next little blue cube/red-pyramidal-thing tells me?". This guy, unfortunately, has made the mistake of saying both things on one post! I have to admit, I'm impressed by the courage (or is it depressed by the utter stupidity?) that would allow someone to come into the den of bio-engineers, and then create a thread devoted solely bashing our profession and "enlightening" us as to how badly we suck/how useless we are/how to get through our beloved-yet-broken profession the fastest so he can drop it.
On another note, DeltaNine, I hope your install of Galaxies melts your motherboard and that Sony accidentally charges a few extra years in subscriptions to your credit card (preferably a yearly subscription for all of us bio-engineers that actually love this profession...that would be most fitting).
Nothing gets on my nerves more than idiots like you coming into OUR community, telling us how much we suck and how useless we are, and then taking it a step further by saying that you're only here so you can do what some should-be-god-forsaken cube told you to do (so you can immediately drop it). Go the *edit* away and whine somewhere else. I have no pity for you, and would find it highly amusing if somehow you ground all the way to master, only to have a character rollback occur that forced you to do it all again. Or maybe it would be funny to see you stuck on a muon gold downer forever...that too would be fitting.
The worst, most useless profession in this game is that of Holocron-Fly-By-Nighter. And you're well on your way to mastering it.

My apologies to you for getting a little bit steamed in defending the profession I like so much, but seeing idiots like this DeltaNine guy just really puts a bee in my boxers. Please forgive me for being non-constructive and all, but I just had to get that rant off my chest.

The Holo's have to be the worst thing in the game. I took up BE on my own and have have been for a few months now. I have had a great time and was brought into a guild for being a BE. The guild I am with has to be the best group of guys & guys in this game. No one expects anything from me, not even pet stims. But for someone to come in my house and say stuff like that to me is just rude. I just hope the next Holo tells you to become an image designer or something else. Just get your level and drop and don't let the door hit you on the way out.
dude i feel for ya i picked this profession and now hate it. im planing on just grinding and droping it. i dont fell anything like a MAD SCIENTIST more like a low level horse breeder. i would feel more mad if i could create the actual critter that i samped. and i cant find any meat for less than 10 creds per unit even the worthless stuff. and i'd rather not go out and harvest meat myself cause im not a hunter. as for sales the only thing i seem to unload right now are pet vits and pet stoims mainly cause there are so many but they dont wana buy my pets for more than 2k but they wana sell them as mounts for 30-200k. yes i feel im being $%#@%&^. oh well im just grinding and than im out aws for all u that stay be good luck and i hope they fix all the bugs and make it worth while to stay a be.
There are fast ways to grind though this profession.
Just need to read some of the posts of the past. It is very detailed, and will get you through in short order.

Well again, pet stim experimentation works ENTIRELY. Its the cloning experimentation thats broken. If you are talking about an incorrect message, then you probably tried to experiment on both charges and power, one went up the other down. Im not sure how it determines the message you see. The actual experminentation does work or you wouldnt see some of the high level stims ppl have posted they've made.
I can see you are tying to be a bit humourous, thats cool. But BE is not useless or i'd be poor. Try being a DE . Its currently useless. Also you are stating buggy aspects. First poster guy was commenting on the profession in game. If he meant something else then thats what he should have said.
I know a lot of very weathly, utterly useless, people. I don't measure myself by the number of credits I have.
I hear a lot of comments about rancors and how much better we make them. I agree completely with that by the way. It just strikes me that to be useful in the clone area you have to master profession.
Yeah, actually I was trying to be humorous. Good of you to recognize that. lol. The tissue line works, albeit on an insane level which is what I was getting at.
Seems to bea bunch of angry people out there. I agree the original poster probably had some of these things coming to him but geez people. Get a grip. Don't worry though, I've started a collection to send us all to a master doctor in hopes they can remove the stick we all seem to have wedged up our collective butts.
