Ya Im grinding out MBEfor a holocron, and now, on my 3rd day of it at only 2 4 0 1 , (i just cant get the hang of this sample dna thing) my fingers hurt, my mind is numb, and when i think that i still have 290k xp of BE crafting left I just can t help but cry, You actual bio engineers that choose this for your characterare freakin crazy, this has got to be the worst most useless profession in the game.

God help us..

You know... BE was the first profession I mastered.. and I've hung on to it the longest... I enjoy it, I enjoy seeing how I can tweek the creatures I create... I enjoy watching a ch go wow when I give him a spat with 1200-1300ham on it. Basically being the mad scientist that so many of us were drawn to in the first place... what I dont enjoy tho.. are these holo-jedi wannabe's telling me that Im basically useless because I enjoy the profession im in, and that I enjoy the way I play.

Please, if you are only grinding be because some insignificant little box told you too... finish your grinding, surrender the skills, and keep your comments to yourself.

Do you have any idea how rude that is to come in and flame people who willing choose to do this profession. Instead you should be applauding them for their dedication. I myself am almost done with Bio Engineer cause I had to do it for my holocron and I must admit it is very difficult and time consumming. But I do not complain because it is my choice to do what the holocron says. If you are not happy with what the holocron told you to do then don't do it. How important is FSCS to you. For all the other Bio Engineers there is at least one person who thinks you are not crazy. I APPLAUD YOU!!!!!

But the thrill of finally makeing a 12.5k ham, .7hit, 700 damage Rancor after thousands of dna samples to find perfect pairs is great. That is like killing a Krayt solo w/ no AT-ST to help.

I just started the grind last night myself im like 1/0/0/0, this is going to be a tough grind and I really appreciate what the MBE's that didnt grind it have accomplished. This prof does seem really cool too, fun.

Its definately not right to come and flame someones prof just because You dont like it. People play different Profs because its what They are interested in and fortunately not everyone is interested in the same prof or the game would be pretty boring. You have to applaud the Devs for providing 34 different Profs so that whatever your taste(mad scientist anyone?) there is hopefully something for you, even if it will take a while to work out the bugs and balance everything.

To grind DNA sampling take muon gold. While puking build stuff from the dna. etc etc etc

Try creating something instead of grinding out micronutrient supplements in practice mode using a macro. Your comments are the most ridiculousI've ever read on these boards.

Actually, poster #1 is funny. It's downright hilarious. He's not making fun of us; he's offering his sympathy. He should get our sympathy. He's going to grind out BE for the holocron, and he's not even going to have a working class at the end. And I grind out micronutrient supplements. What do you want me to do? Make tissues that don't work, and don't sell? Make creatures that suck. I make about 100-150k a day selling mounts, but the xp for making those mounts is garbage. If I had more demand for my stock, I'd get more xp the so-called real way. As long as the profession is broken, I'll grind. And anyone that can sit there and grind has my sympathy and admiration...not many people can do it. I had one marathon 36 hour session, and since then, I've just been DNA sampling yard trash outside of theed, and making mounts.

I hate when people say a profession totally sucks. If you don't like it, then don't play it. Just do your holo-grind in silence and go away. Keep your opinion to yourself, its not needed and really will only piss people off who do enjoy playing as BEs.

the poor guy got probably the worst profession to have to holo-grind, with the possible exception of chef, which he'll probably get next

good luck man it's not that bad...if you really have the will to do it, you can get about 10000 BE crafting xp per ten minutes, using an 8 crafting station macro, so it's a pain, but do-able

Heh, I was really annoyed when I got BE from my holocron, but I think its actually kinda fun, in a painful way.
There's nothing like sampling a piket and watching it keel over and die lol. I hear that goes away once you get better at sampling? Too bad...

Nope, at least not so far... I'm DNA Sampling 3 and mostly things still keel over dead on the 1st or 2nd sample.
