ok, here's a challenge--considering we have only a few high level mobs to sample from--has anyone tried making a CL70 pet with AR1, 60% kinetic, and ?% energy, and "VULNERABLE" to everything else? Reason I ask?...well, if we can pull off that many vulnerabilities in a CL70 clone--then we can fit more HAM or damage into the mix...it's a thought...I want a 20k HAM, with 800-1000 damage and 1.0 speed--who's up to the challenge?LOL...wish I had time to try it...that would be a PVP nightmare, but an MCH wet dream...hehe--think I'm gonna give it a go, the more I think about it, the more I wanna see what's possible!

Sure, if the CH is prepared and ready and such.

How often does that happen in PvP?

Come on now, this is easy.

make 2 macros:

/tellpet (follow other comand)

/tellpet (special attack command)

(don't use this macro to teach the follow or attack commands )

put the macro(s) in the toolbar and use it as your petattack button(s) . Then they are available for both PVE and PVP

btw. the pet can be in combat and if you reissue the command to him/her they will do the special again for every time you tell them. I have my pets constantly using their specials. just takes a bit of mouse clicking

Remember you may have to issue the comand several times before it sticks. Also posion and des. don't have floaties, but they do get used.

"Remember you may have to issue the comand several times before it sticks."

Your dead by then.

A typical pvp encounter lasts about 30 seconds, if your lucky to be up against someone who doesnt' do mind damage.

We can sit around all day long with theories and pie in the sky good wishes, but where the rubber meets the road, thats what counts.

And what counts in pvp is damage per second. pure and simple. If your a MCH, 1 CL 70 pet isn't going to do you squat worth of good, its still gonna have 13kish ham at best, do 500-600 damage at best and will die just as easily as anything else.

What you really need are 2 or 3 low level, high damage output, small, fast pets with ranged attack and light armor if your lucky. Think along the lines of chokus or motts or slice hounds with400+ damage ranged attack and 9-10k ham.

well, we'll have to just agree to disagree..lol

I find my CL69 mutant rancor in a cat skin with knockdown/poison to be my best pvp pet. And spamming his attacks is really no different then someone spamming KD/Dizzy/etc from their template skills. I don't know how many times i would get incapped, but the cat sticks on my enemy, incapps him and then goes on to the next guy. I then get up, DB the first guy and proceed to shoot whoever is getting chewed on by the cat
