regrind to get the same profs u now have? do i miss something?
Or do u have 3 toons with combat/crafter and wanna merge them to crafter/crafter and combat/combat?

I converted my two toons... just to let you know BE, scout, medic, and doctor skills were able to be converted.

Even though we're told we can tweak our templates when the CU comes out I hope the devs realize what kind of bind they're putting us in...for even if I drop merch for scout/ranger I'm seriously going to be in trouble for I won't have a merch for storing DNA! But then as the DNA stands now on CU - won't go into the other downer, the CH problems - I'm really tempted to ask my friend what server he plays in WoW - but I'll stick around a few weeks in the CU to see if the devs managed to salvage the problem.

Testing a bit everyday too to more or less keep the complaints (stronger word was desired here) in the system for BE's and CH's...I more or less refuse to drop BE...that was the longest grind I ever done, and I'd rather quit the game then do something else.

I tried WoW, and I'll say this. If you're a pet crafting BE, you most likely enjoy the complex crafting involved. That's not in WoW... not sure you'd enjoy it much. The crafting in WoW is horrid... but then again looks like the crafting system in SWG is going to become horrid also.....

my thoughts exactly, Frog.

and it won't happen. most of this younger demographic has more of a concept of style - perhaps is only looking at style - than i believe is taken into account. and i don't believe SWG is tailored around style, to the extent that the other games are.

on a personal note - Frog is the guy who inspired me, from afar, to do what i do. to hear him saying this hits very, very hard.

do you think SOE gave a single thought to how much this is going to hit thier check book with the huge add campain they are puting out with the movie and the close to 100 acounts that i know will be closing unless they just about #$%^ can the CURB? DO you think Lucas has any idea how bad SOE is messing up his intulectual property? As much as i love the star wars world i think Galixies will be the last Lucas based game i ever buy. I love crafting. I love Combat but under curb i have to chose one or the other i cant do both(come on now you cant tell me smugler is a combat prof) and im not sure how efective im going to be crafting if i cant get out to my factory or Harvy's


BE Well now were going to have stims that require more resorces than an arch to build a guild hall and at least a guild hall serves a purpose if nothign more than to store the huge stacks of Resorces were going to haveto stockpile just to make a 25 unit crate of pet stim a's.


But on a positive note for the last year+ this game has been my life i guess i'll be doing what my friends and co-workers have been telling me to do and get a life. Who knows I may find out what the inside of a bar room looks like again. I may even go spend my sat afternoon working on my neglected project cars insted of playing this game.


I truely hope the Dev's havent adopted the attitude of politicans in thinking "Don't confuse me with the facts my mind is made up!" but when people leave the game in the mass numbers like they will it will be to late to say come back play or game we made it the way it use to be, a fun, PLAYABLE, Profession based MMOG. I wonder what the employment lines are like for video game devs? After all as any good SWG crafter knows when you bussnes takes a hit, You do more advertising and cut down on your R&D.
