Thread: MCH bug?
I made a level 64 Kimo for a customer and he was unable to tame it as a master CH. And as the post above that he shouldn't get bent out of shape, I think it is really absurd to have to change clothes as a MCH to call your pet. Sure maybe to tame it, but to call it?
On a similar noteI have been unbale to call some of my pets since Publish 6. I think this is due to me vicous taming skill. It is extremely frustrating to encounter these undocumented limits. I mean, I can understand a taming limit and the viscous taming skill implies, but I can not understand a limit to what you canCALL that is not based strikly on max pet level skill.

Acording to the CH skill tree in game it indeed would seem that a non-wookie only has a +50for vicious creatures.
However, my understanding has been that a non-wookie can control a agressive creature of CL60 or lower.
I recomend the +25 (as opposed to a lower value) as it also is said to help increase your chances of taming all creatures. All a Bio-Engineer needs to do is make two +13 active tran and have a taylor stick both in stripped slacks for a combined value of +25.
Thats what I do anyhow
As far a boycotting the mod cause of it being a "bug"... well if we are going to start boycotting bugs then I guess I minds as well just un-installed SWG

mods do stack in the same piece of clothing.
3 BE tissues to taming, each at +5
put 1 into one shirt, 2 into another.
wearing shirt A, with one tissue, cant call my pet. wearing shirt B, with two tissues, can most definitely call my pet.
and if it bothers you that much just get an undershirt made, it fits under armor, problem solved. the taming cap is set at 50 because, with the exception of BE pets, there is nothing that you can tame in the wild that is higher than CL 50. very simple stuff. an undershirt with a +15 or +16 tissue in it would not impact your current armor or clothing styles, in most cases. so um....stop whining? youre going to get us nerfed
Huh?...stop whining?...nerfed? Who's complaining about what they can or can't wear? Who are you addressing in your post?
BTW, "bull rancor (baby)" is CL65 in the wild...so I've heard--I've never had the opportunity to tame one.
Also, the reason I'm boycotting the clothing is becauseit's likesaying it's ok that the devs ignore this issue, I'll just work around it...to me, that's like accepting it as is.Now if they change the description of our profession, and include this "bug" as an intended feature--ie. they change our CL cap to +taming CL70wild/CL50 vicious--then I'll do what I have to. The way I see the "taming" mod now, does not read that way at all, so they need to fix it--the bug or the documentation.
...and IF theyFIX this BUG, it's not a "nerf"--in fact it's a GOOD thing, you'll be able to do something you couldn't before...so who's gonna get nerfed? answer: no one.
I heard the same thing ![]()
However, I put two +14 active trans in slacks (should come out to +28) but it shows as +25 (the cap). That made me think the cloth did indeed stack...
If, by design, the cap is only on one piece of cloth shouldnt the examine window show that (only show +14).
Are you telling me I'm only getting the bonus of one +14 even though the slacks say +25?

ImdaReeljedi,
Thank you for your clarification. It would really be stupid if these mods didnt stack despite it showing up as "stacked" in the examine window.
ScoutMastr, I was wondering.. When you travel from plantet to planet do you leave out your vehicle and then store it at the next planet like 99% of the population to get your vehicle fixed for free?
SWG is full of bugs.. some of which are in the player's favor and some are not. I dont see what you hope to achieve by refusing to use a "work around" in this matter.
The Devs tend to do things on their own terms and tend to ignore the concerns of the community... I doubt refusing to use this tissue will do anything to speed up the process of the Devs getting these, and other, bugs fixed... In the end you're only hurting your own game experience...
I understand the "principle" of the matter.. but this is only a game.. not RL..
