How are you guys able to find these consistantly? any tips on this besides find a ranger (never able to get them to help me.)

I found once before was master BE and before I knew that youo could get special clothing (mask scent +25) and I lead it to town for a quick killing spree but other than that bundle of joy I have had no such luck, now that they would be useful.

There is place commonly refered to as rancor valley on Dath... its abut 2400km or so like nw of the SMC and NS battlefield.... also about 1km from the battlefield in the direction of the northern outpost seems to be a fairly consistent spot. Also down by the crashed escape pod is generally good rancor land...

Thank you so much, I have no idea what SMC (I am guessing look at the game I will Understand) and NS (Night Sister?) But I will check as soon as I get home from work! Thanks! Thanks! Thanks again... also I am very excited that my post grinding has paid off and I can edit and I got the cool droid Icons... I must say I am curious is there more? Could I some day be a Master Community Poster and get like Darth Vader Icons? TH please add this forum content if it is not in here already, we spend almost as much time in these forums as we do in the game while at work wishing we were at home playing the game. I think this game might just ruin my life yet lol.

Also I would be ok with some forum quests to acheive such things or holocrons telling us which profession we need to post in to acheive such things.

Dont think can add much to the disscussion but I have spent 2 hours this morning trying to get samples of Mutant Rancors and endedcloning twice all for ............. zilch, none, zero samples. To say I am mad is an underestimate, I dont expect Mutant Rancors to be easy theydo supply the best DNA but this is silly. Full Camo gear, full mask scent, beer etc etc oh and I Bothan that should help a bit. I tried riding up to them, crawling, walking, running if I could have flapped me arms fast enough I would have flown to them. We all have bad days but I have had a bad 2 weeks trying to get Muntant Rancor DNA.

Would be nice if "they" looked into this - but it would also be nice if I won the lottery .

Cookie thanks again, I must say when I first ventured through the MSC & NS Battlefield I thought you were just trying to get me killed. But I found what I was looking for and I also think I figured out the DNA Trouble people are having. I came across 5 different spwans 3 of 6+ and 2 of 3.

The ones with 6 constantly agro'd and out of many sample attempts I got NADA. Out of the other two that only had 3 creatures I was able to get consistant Samples. I am only up to ten, but mostly because I wasted so much time on the 6+ spawns. I think it has something to do with the static spawn dynamic.

Also I saw my first JEDI in action out there there was this huge pile of enraged rancors so I went over to investigate and heard the **HISS** of a lightsaber one spawned and killed me, but i laid and watched for awhile man I can't wait.
