I find its worth the time to migrate your stats to max mind/willpower/focus when you're grinding Sampling, if you havent already done so. You can still get buffed on the other 6 so much that it doesnt matter if their base is min

Don't forget gremlins. There are gremlins in the DNA containers. They are the ones who can slip a stun special into a generic DNA sample when none of the samples going into it had stun, or cause a pet with mediocre stats to be level 70 while one with far better stats checks in at level 62. They are also the reason it takes a container that comes to my waist to hold a sample of DNA molecules taken from a creature that doesn't reach the top of my boots. The majority of that space is devoted to housing the gremlins.
