Thread: pET sTIMS
If you are on Radiant I have some on my Vendor just East of Coronet on Corellia ("Thank the Maker" Pets & Droids). However, I think the reason that people don't make a ton of Pet Stims is due to the complexity and lack of Factory support.
In order to make the Pet Stims we need to make three seperate components (which give us NO Bio-Engineering XP) and then we have to combine them into the Stimpacks. Add to this that we can not yet use factories and I'm sure you can understand that namy of us do not want to spend our days sitting in front of the crafting stations to make a few thousand when we need to be out DNA sampling. The Stimpacks do sell well...and I expect to see many more on the market once we get the Factory thing fixed.
I see where all are coming from, and the Pet Stim business is NOT going to take out medics at all...
btw. the highest pet stim that can be made is the D and i have yet to make those because it uses CRAZY ingredients...
My Pet Stim C's are averaging 1010-1022 HAM heal points
These pet stims are too convenient if you ask me... NERF'EM!!! Make those CH's break their other certs to get themselves some medic for their solo'ing endevz.. Forget them, I had to break mine to survey, and what's good for the goose right? /cackles I can hear them crying already.. muahahaha

I am a Master CH and let me tell you something: I would rather take my pet to a doctor and pay them to heal then use the pet stims. It takes 15 of them to regen. I have actually let go of some of my Ranger skills so I can get a little medic to be able to use stim b's. They are just faster. That is all there is to it.
As for healing mind, I have yet to see a stim that does. There probably is, but it would be worthless to someone that has trick1 or 2, because they are instantly healed with them.
Wounds I believe have to do with vitality. I don't think you can heal wounds on a pet any longer. You have to use vitality packs for this. (I might be completely wrong, titter titter) Regardless, you doctors stop worrying about this! I for one will still come to you all to heal my rancor, and pay a pretty penny ![]()
I love medics, they are my best-est friends!
(I just don't know if they can be "fed" spice or chef foods to actually get buffs from that.)
The consensus seems to be that the buffs on food have no effect the pet you feed it to. Chefsoptimize pet food for quantity, and ignore buffs.
Snip-
Second, the same patch that introduced pet stims also DRASTICALLY nerfed the creature handler pet regens - i.e., they forced the CHs to become dependent on another class by removing the ability for them to let their pets regen on their own.
All classes need a purpose BioEngineers had zilch until pet stims where added. There were a crafting class with no one to craft for?!?. Critter owners were a bit out of control and can logicaly fund BioEngineers with thier superior mission capabilities. Hat's off to sony for a creative nerf/enhance.
Trickone Tricktwo... why is the origianly poster so worked up about the mind component of pet heals?
All I can say is when is the new name due. "Pet Wars Galaxies: An Empire Tamed" sounds about right.
I jest, with the overloving commando's got the CH isn't as powerful as they were, but why is it that pets are so powerful and droids got nerfed? Why do pets not die? Why do they get special stimpacks?
As for bioengineers having no use in the game, that would be because tissues are stuffed and any stat boost items don't really work. If they did I would be out there buying my four pieces of 25% bleed resist clothing (or having my PA tailor make it for me).
Pet stim's seem to be part of a trend to make pets the weapon of choice. Why not driods, the box said Star Wars after all.
i am trying in vain to find a good pet stim supplier in ahazzi. if anybody nows of a good bio engineer for me to look up i would be very grateful. hopefully on naboo but that is not a big deal, i will travel far and wide for a good supplier.
thanks
