Regular Brandy = 38k
Bio enhanced = 150k
So the end customers fair game to rip off then?

Lol I need to move to your server... On radiant a case of BE Brnady goes for 250k
If you don't like the BE pricing try it for a week yourself... then **edit**... I spend a day on Dath collecting crap carnivore and have 40k... since BSN takes 20-55 units of meat... it doesn't go very far... and to top it off, the flora ain't free either. Get me cheap meat, and lower your prices, I will lower mine.
You want a high profit margin, why should I share in that profit

Cough, check the autosig, I'm master doctor you seen the price of avian meat? Some people think harvesting 1 Kaadu gets them 2k in the bank!
Belive me I know... and for my tissues... its even harder to get good meat. A good shift of herb, which we need, goes for 45-60cpu... and BE need flavor pe and oq, not just 2 of them...
Also I sale good shifts of avain for upwards of 100cpu... made a few million on a shift a while ago....
So it's ok for the chef to rip people off. . . I mean "price for demand" but when a BE tries to do the same thing they are "ripping you off to makea quick buck"
Man that sounds so easy I think I'LL become a BE!!!

or just buy the meat yourself and ask a BE for a schematic
I do this myself without being Chef at all, i pay 200k for a BSN schematic of 1000 (which is good money for a BE for 20 seconds work), make a factory run and sell the BSNs for 750k which is a good deal for the chef too
Seems like the rangers are just gonna get richer then
Omisk,
I have one question only... what are you charging for YOUR food? Let's start with brandy.

Here's a better ripoff story...
I get a tell out of the blue from a chef, who wants 25 crates of broad spectrum nutrients.Hmm, I think to myself, I might be able to scramble and find the necessary ingredients, as I've never sold tissues in bulk before, as I'm not a master yet, only 3/4/3/4.
10 minutes later, he gives me another tell saying that he needs them all from the same schematic, and at least +80. Ok, I think.... I can still probably do it.

Re-read his post, he states what he is selling his food for very clearly.
And also read his post further down where he says that his BE enhanced brandy that he is selling for 200K is in casks, not small glasses.

6 days for brandy is BS....no chef food out there, enhanced or not, takes more than a day to produce a 1k batch of...chefs got all their items reduced drastically in complexity, which equates to super-short factory runs. The master chef I supply picks on me because every time I supply her with medium tissues, she has the additives and brandy done before I can even get the next batch of tissues run....and that's when I start the new batch immediately.
Sorry, you're wrong. A run of 1K alcohol (and you need 2K for a 1K run of brandy) takes ~11 hours. So that's 20+ hours just for the alcohol. Now add in 2 runs of trim, 1 run of casks, and 1 run of BE additives. And the final run of brandy.
If I could make 1K brandy in a day, I might actually make some for sale. As it is, it takes days of my time and I don't even do 1K runs. It's why I don't make the stuff any more - it's just too much work.
So, please get your facts straight.. and meanwhile I'll go hunt up the post that breaks down exactly what it takes for 1K run of brandy.
I don't know much about being a chef, but my close friend is a master and his Cask's are making 21 use brandy's at +390, 32minutes with my BSN @ 84
