How did you get the ar1 attack to stick on the clone. I am having trouble getting most area attacks to stick. The screecherand Mutant Rancor, for example, have area attacks, but I can never seem to get them to stick in the final cloned creature.

Any suggestions..

thanks..

Knockdown and Dizy attacks stick well since they are not AoE (Area of Effect) specials. AoE attacks like Plague Strike, Combo attack, and open Wounds will never breed through to the clones. I can't tell you how bad I would love to make a pet with Plague Strike attack but it won;t happen. I suppose it is somehwta balanced because with the big BE patch / CH nerf they did add extremely rare baby spawns and 2 of them (Buill Rancors and Mantrique Screechers I think) now spawns babies that have the Plague Strike attack. Keep in mind they are extremely rare. I have seen posts in the CH forum where people have done hundreds of lairs without spotting a baby yet.

That is why the clone in my first post has no armor.I figured death's head would be good if you experimented only damage. With light armor and low resists,if you don't experiment fortitude you get around 45-50 to all resists, but no armor.

I made it for myself, thinking that I wanted maximum damage with strong poison and disease.Since most smart pvp players will ignore you're pet and go for the ch anyway, seems damage and specials are more important than resists.

But I am going for some of each.Pets with high resist,nd pets with high damage and good specials.Just depends on the situation.

And to answer someone's question,I can't get area effect specials to stick.Have to ask around but I am pretty sure noone has managed to stick an area effect special. When I say "ar1" I mean light armor.

I believe armor isnot going to help half as much as straight old resists. If you can combined armor with it well that is just icing on the cake. Armor piercing weapons are very common. All my weapons have them and generally it's the resists that hold back my damage compared.
