Using the same sort of macro setup on my alt tailor (and only 4 tools but cartridge belts give 299 in practice mode) I can verify that it's much better (ie, quicker) to make something requiring more resources (and thus giving more xp).

This Is Technically Speaking You Don't have Any Critical Failures.
Dna Sampleing Is Much More Easy.
You Could Craft 50K Exp Per-Day Which Would Take You Just Over A Week To Finish The Crafting In Bio-Enigeer.

a few comments about this...I'm not a BE...but the nutritional additives used in making chef products require creature food...this can include milk/eggs/hide...

if you can also find someone with dom arts 4, or a chef...you can also take advantage of the rather nice usage xp gained from a chef/artisan placing the tissue into an additive. you'd have to sacrifice the 4% practice xp...and craft the actual item...but the usage xp is 150% (at least before publish 6). this can cut the meat/hide/eggs/milk requirement in 1/2 at the very least...while only adding water (much cheaper, and easier to come by).

I'm not sure if you get usage xp for placing your own tissue into an additive anymore...so it may be possible to do this on your own.

I ground out all three crafting trees for BE in about 10 hours total game time, if that. Here's how I did it:

  • Constrictor cloths up to Tissues 1: 105 XP/craft, 2880 Meat + 1920 Flora

  • Hyper Yeast Additive up to Tissues 2: 126 XP/Craft, 4780 WILD Meat + 9560 Cereal.

  • Hyper Yeast Concentrate up to Tissues 3: 136 XP/Craft, 7360 Wild Meat + 16560 Cereal.

  • Broad Spectrum Nutrient Supplements up to Tissues 4. 168 XP/Craft, 9540 Meat + 28620 Flora.

  • Edible Nano-constrictors for the other two crafting trees. 51270 Wild Meat + 68360 Cereal + 42725 Vegetable

The above method is better than the standard constrictor cloth/micronutrient/broad spectrum nutrient method in that it gets you through your remain two crafting trees a lot faster. The limitation is that it requires wild meat, which I was lucky enough to find.

Using this method, you can get by with the following resource requirements:

  • 42,725 units Vegetable (tubers, greens, fungi, beans, etc.)

  • 75,830 units Wild Meat (or 12,410 any meat and 63,410 wild meat)

  • 125,020 units of Cereal (wheat, oats, etc.)

Once you hit edible nano-constrictors, the 199 xp/craft really makes things go faster and it uses less resources overall.

one question... How do you get xp with a crafting macro with the hyper yeast concentrate and the nano thingys cause you need a crafting station or a droid for those and im not getting any xp when i try... the macro wont craft the item and give me xp when im near crafting station or droid.

If you want to use completely harvested items and have a factory, do a run of BECs and LSs and grind Pet Vitality packs. It takes a little more effort, but you can use plain old organics, inorganics and water in fairly small quantities and save your meat for your suppliments and pets. Don't have xp numbers or anything, but it saved me a ton of money and hunting....

I used to keep my nose to the grindstone in hopes of succeeding through hard work and persistance. Unfortunately I have been grinding so long, the stone has burned through most of my face and into the back of my skull.

Easy answer there. I thought the same thing for a long time, but i wasnt using the right macro:

Before I used this:

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/createprototype no item;

now I use this to make it work near stations:

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/nextcraftingstage;

/createprototype no item;

/createprototype no item;

This will work near a crafting station and not near one. Basiclly the extra nextcrfting stage command is ignored by the crafting tool if it cant go to next stage. And the extra /createprototype is used to skip experimentation and go to the next createprototype. Hope that helps.

Ok, I had to re-read this to be sure I understood what you meant. This is crafting BE without crafting dna samples/templates/pets. There's no easy way to count how many samples you have to craft to get this exp because it varies with successful experimentation. The higher the DNA you combine, the more exp you get, the more successful your experiments are, the more exp you get, then you get your static amount of exp when you craft the pet.

I'm just posing a guess here but i think you'd go through much less meat and floral doing pets. I'm not about to try and put numbers together though.

You would go through an IMMENSELY larger amount of time and suffering getting those DNA samples though (and I betcha it'd use up more meat/flora than you think).

Reasonably sure it's efficient to use the MNS/BSN since it's an 'any meat' forumla and flora is trivial to get in exceptionally large stacks (compared to endless meat).

Depends on what you're trying to do with your results, of course, and if you want effort efficiency, or purely 'resource' efficiency and ignore the time to aquire or inventory requirements.

I don't understand why nobody mentions the 138xp you get from crafting Multisaccharide Dimate, which is avaliable at Novice BE. Yes, it requires 20 milk, but that is soooo easy to come by. Find a Cu Pa lair on Tatooine and milk them dry, then sample DNA. If they go aggressive, kill and harvest the meat. Or Pickets do on Dantooine, harder to DNA sample at the lower sampling boxes but they give loads of milk. I often get 100 milk or more from a picket female. It's easier than any of the other resources.

Any suggestions on what to sample for high success : relatively high xp at each sampling level? I've seen the guid to CL's but I don't know creatures by their CL's, only but how much they hurt when I fail to kill them. I've already done the 3 crafting trees and I just hit sampling 2.
