Beg to differ, with be clothing i get hit alot less by the mobs i fight they tend to only matter when you get surrounded but it is noticeable.

And lets not forget. As mentioned above.
Melee Def+4 Def vs Stun 16-17 << This is a Normal BE clothing and Most races can wear 4 articles of clothing with this.
MeleeDef +6,7 Def vs Stun 20ish << This is what can get BE'd if you have the "right" BE do the Job.
So what did we learn here..... Jedi robes suck and BE cloths are the way to go.
Oh how could i forget . You also get 4 sockets per article of clothing that you are wearing for attachments.

Anyone know a vendor on eclipse where you can buy like a suit all made together in a pack? Any idea on price?

Defense vs Stun is NOT defense vs the stun damage type, ive seen BE clothes and tapes go for loads because people cant read descriptions, it is a state defense against being stunned...for example unarmed stun, or any of the high level saber attacks.

You can wear 4-5 articles of clothing that can give you the melee/stun BE mods. Best I've seen is +4 melee and +19 stun.
You cap at +25 to any mod through tapes, which means two articles of the melee/stun be clothes you will be capped on stun, even if you get a crappy +15 or +16 on the stun side, as obviously +15 x 2 = more than 25.
So, wearing 4-5 articles of this is to get the extra melee defense. Which is nice. 4 x 4 = 16 melee defense. Just think what a +16 melee defense ca would sell for! Probablly 40-50 million on my server, easy.
However, I think it is foolish to not wear your robe. It may be a minor bonus but every little bit counts. If you feel that +16 to melee and +25 to stun is more important, and arguablly - it is I think it is more foolish to count on that being your "final" template.
Once they fix the FRS, you will most definently want to wear your robes.
Granted this may be months away, but it will happen.
Right now you can wear gloves, hat and a belt with the robe, these three items cannot be BE enhanced with the melee/stun mods unfortunantly. That would be too awesome. But, that is 12 sockets (just think of 12 sockets with +12 melee and +25 stun... but I digress). Yes, buying a melee defense and stun defense ca will cost more than the 10k a BE shirt will cost, but you will be able to wear them with your robe. You probablly arent going to find a +25, or even a +10 but every little bit helps.
The only thing that concerns me, is if they decide to mess with the ability to wear a belt, gloves and a hat with your robe at some point. (Like you can wear gloves, but not hat or belt, whatever). Make plannign what to put ca's in today a bit of a headache.

They are already starting to do this... Wookiees can no longer wear Gloves withour robes..

Why foolish to not wear the robe?
a) less vsible (in that people wont know)

With Crafters pants if they are made the same color as the shirt it looks really good. I wear the hooded cloak and the Jacket only for doing XP. I have 4000 Defender so my Melee Defense is +109. If i an only locate a +6 Melee Defense SEA!

As a BE tailor i'd just like to say +4 is the max stat You get on the melee stat even using uber res you might get +19 maybe +20 on stun but not any higher than +4. Oh and 4 sockets is no longer a gauranteed for master tailor the way it used to be pre publish 7 8(.

You guys honestly dont' think regen work? I mean I can see the difference when I wear my BE clothes next to my robe while fighing. Yes it's a slow difference but it does seem better with the Jedi Army Robe on lol
A little difference but it does seem somewhat better with the robe on next to the BE clothes.
BE clothes look cooler

when clothes have 0/0 condition left do the mods and attachments still work or no

as of right now, the mods still work at 0/100 so yes they still work same with armor
