Okay, so I got two SWG accounts. I got the second one to start a shipwright, which I have been slowly grinding for apx two months now.
I am now 2/1/2/2 shipwright and can never find my draft schematic numbers! They are totally out of order and I have no way of finding what I want to build. It used to be the order in which they were in my datapad was an indicator, then I could just pick a random number and then look in my datapad to see where that was add up or down and get my schematic. Now there is no rhyme or reason to them, they are all over the damn place.
Any thoughts as to how I can get control of this? I am tired of changing my macro to every 3rd number then checking it to see if I am close to my Y-wing chassis!

Is this a shipwright only issue? I don't seem to have problems with my rangers schematics (although he only hs like 10)

I don't think many are macro grinding shipwright since you get so much xp from a blueprint, then you can sell the blueprint pretty easy.

There was a recent change in sorting (for datapads and inventory). In this change a by-product was the jumbling of draft schem order. This has been comfirmed by players on many of the crafting profession boards.
The best work around I have heard (Architect Boards??) is to add a few seconds delay. Craft 1 if the item in pratice then run macro. The item will now come up as default, you just have to hit [Enter] one extra time.
Happy trails!!!
PS Shipwright xp is based on resource ammount so crafting chassis will get you there in about the same ammount of resources, but reduce the "grind" time by such a HUGE ammount you will be surprised. I would make like 10 or 15 chasis a day and got shipwright very fast. I would recomend this approach and spend the extra time flying and making some parts for you ship as well as working with RE'ing the loot you get.
Much more fun then speed clicking forever.....

I'll bet your draft schematics are being shuffled around by the same process that sorts the view in our inventory. Ouch. Well, publish 12 is putting it back so that you don't have to have a view sorted.

Thanks for the tips.
I have been doing a slow grind of chassis each day. I settled on the Y-wing chassis as it gives good exp w/o using too many "types" of resources. I will try the method suggested and see how it goes.
I have a ton of resources stockpiled too, so I really need to burn some up. What I normally do iscollecta ton of resources through-out the week andevery Saturday or one day a week grind out bunch of chassis for the exp. Then I have the followuing weekto recoup all the resources lost for that week.

Could someone help me, I need a list of draft schematic number for weaponsmith, or for that mater anything. There is no way to identify what schematic is what number.
If some one could help it would be great.
thanks

It's more or less random, can change after you log out etc. If it's for a crafting macro you need it there is another solution. First manualy start the crafting tool and open the correct schematic, close the tool, now change the line /selectDraftSchematic xx; to
/pause 2; (perhaps longer perhas shorter, depends on lag and how fast computer you got)
/ui action defaultButton;
This way you don't need to know the correct schematic number, downside is you might loose half a sec or so each time you run it making it take a bit longer to grind the craft and it's a bit more lag sentitive.

I am looking for information on the following;
Main Question
How do you creat a draft schematic?
Secondary:
Any information in gernal on draft schematics ie.. how to use them, what types of schematics, list of all the schematics, where to get them if they can't be created.
Any websites/resources on this topic.

You dont need to cross-post the same question to every board, posting it only on the artisan board would have been enough.

you need to use a Crafting Station....like for architect you need a structure crafting station then press create manufacturing schematic
