I get alot of crit failures on structure modules but i belive its because of the quality of resourses my ore im using is 74 quality. Im have Furniture I, Instal II, House I. I build new tools (3.93) anda new station 1.2 i believe it is. i sometimes get crit failures, but only when using the low-ore i have. Try using better materials and see if that helps, craft better tools, a station using the optional componets to see if it helps.


I have a question; I had a structure tool at (3.93 effectiveness and one at 2.64) the more effective tool seemed to give me more exp when crafting, do my eyes need to be checked again, or does effectiveness effect the exp also?

You really should make more factory produced stuff........I have very rare failiures and most of them are either on the odd structure modules i hand make or wall units (i put the walls together by hand) but hardly every anything major.. a few medium minerals that's it.

ive been seeing A LOT more frequency in failures as well.

Well i was reading that you all made a patch to help with CRITICAL FAILURES but whatever was done isnt working in the last 2 days i have had 2 medium chemical harvestors, 2 medium mineral harvestorsand about 4 walls all go critical. I am using good quality minerals with top quality equipment, I am also a master architect. I dont know whats up but i cant keep losing stuff like this. CF are way way up. Anyone else having this problem????

Its actually been alot less for me, i made 6 walls tonight had 3 fails in total and none on the walls, where as b4 i would crit alot more on walls, seems better to me. also, the ore i was useing was crapola lol. Itsrandom if u ask me, im not a master archi 1/0/3/4, just master artisan.

I've noticed it too. I had someone wanting just a small house the other day and I had my factory working on structure modules for another order so I told him to give me a couple minutes and I throw one together by hand. I started with the light power core...no prob. then the Small storage...no prob. Then to the Structural Modules....crit....crit(**edit**)...crit(**edit**)....success(whew)...crit(**edit**!!! ^#^$$#ing SOB ^%$& And this was with the same ore/steel that I had been using for awhile. It hasnt happened THAT much since but I am still noticing it more than before the "Big Patch".


I wouldnt mind if they went to the EQ style of trivials. At least with that you knew where you stood on the chance of a success

I've one of those that have had less crit fails after the patch.
I haven't had a single crit fail on a final assembly since the large one, and I've probably made about 20 large structures since then.


Either you guys are doing something wrong, or the Devs have made an un-even distribution of crit fails.


What I would like to see included in these future posts about crit fails is your stats (What is your mind?), level of experience, modifiers to your tools and crafting station..


A lot of people cry foul and whine like mad, then only to turn out to be nothing more than lvl 2 in housing.. So please, for the sake of everyone, devs included, include more details about yourself.

Much more failures after big patch. Something was changed at that patch because I have had a nearly 100% failure rate on anything bigger than a wall EVEN after experimentation. Before the patch I was 95% successful with no experimentation.

I read that. It upsets that me that I wastedtwo PA Hall's on my 'uber' station that I just crafted. I will try one on my droid tonight to see if maybe the failure on my droid was a statistical fluke.

I make stim c's, alot of them since i am a ch. I have noticed since last patch that the cf rate has increased. I haven't keep exact statistics, but out of the last attempted 3 tries to make a stim c, i had 5 cf's. The result...one stim c. I first noticed the increase last week, and have continued to see 1 or more cf's per 2 attempts to make a stime c.


I am using advance bio and liquid components and std chem delivery sys.


2 0 3 4 on the medic tree.


Has anyone else noticed this? Or is it just my personal bad luck?
