Thread: What would you do?

I received a Christmas Holocron today. Woo-Hoo, my first one.I was wondering if it would be best to master TKA before using the Holocron. I am currently 2344. The odds of me getting another seem to be pretty slim considering I have killed tons of Dark Troppers and Force npc's and never found one on my own. I just don't want TK to show up. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I have been to the Imperial base many times, and actually have been granted looting rights, but still no Holo's. I am just cursed. LOL

Ok well I am asking on advise why or why not i should do what i am thinking of doing.

I have 2 accounts 1 of which has a tkm/master doc(godly combo u all know)

and ones is a plain marksman i made tonight i only grinded 2/3/0/2 at befor servers went down.

Now i made the second account so i can grind holo's and not have to drop tkm/doc on my main account. but heres where i am asking for what u would do.

On my main account i have masterd the following in this order:

1)Marksmen

2)Scout

3) Artisan

4)Armor smith

5) medic

6) Doctor

7) TKA

While i was working on armor smith i got a holo that said weapon smith(and i masterd armor smith not knoing of macros at the time lol) so i wasnt in the mood to just either drop armorsmith at 4/2/3/4 and do weapon smith or master armor smith then do weapon smith so ive pritty much just forgotin weapon smith...untill now.

See i made the second account and used one of my holos and got marksmen (talk about ez) but the thing is is it really so great? ive done what 7 profession on my main account for all i know all i need is weapon smith to unlock the ffs, or i could be wrong and not have any profession done i need for the fss yet, so heres my question.

What would you do if you had a master doc/ tkm and another 5 masterd professions and know u need weapon smith for your first holo, OR would u just leave ur main account alone as is and master marksmen on ur second account and proceed on to the rest of your holos?

thanks for reading and hopfully replying to my post any feed back would be great thanks

I'd do the weaponsmith thing. You can always train your character back the way he was later.

If you are that close just finish it and start the grind. It would suck if your next holo said armorsmith and you dropped it all.

i think ive decided to do it based on what my next holo on my second account says, if its somthing either compleaty bogus like chef, dancer, musican, i'll just do my main char, im getting kinda board with tk/doc anywho lol but i have one more question ive heard many times that people have masterd a profession then got a holo for it? is that possible or just some stuff made up? thanks for all ur feed back.

If you master a profession you wont get that prof as a holo at a later time...

My suggestion would be turn your 2nd account into a buff bot, assuming you have 2 computers that are capable of running SWG. My friend and I share a "buffbot" account which holds our master doctor/master musician. He is capable of buffing all 6 health and action stats for over 2500 points and then can double your focus and willpower to boot. Just get a stack of fishack for a 500 point Mind buff, and all of your stats can be well over 1000.

It is truly the only way to play

Okay, since several people have stated that real-life morals have no place in a video game, I'm curious about something.

This following pet is up for auction on my server boards:

Gurreck Non-CH

Health: 9025 Action: 6817 Mind: 6296

All resists: 48% Damage: 290-300

Special 1: Dizzy Strike

Special 2: Strong Poison

The current bid is 2.25 million credits.

You are the BE selling this pet. You get your 2.25 million credits. On January 8th, a hot fix goes in making all non-CH pets with more than 4K HAM uncallable. Your customer is understandably upset, and gives you a piece of his mind.

Do you:

1) Say, "Sorry bud, not my fault. It's the **edit** developer's fault. You should be mad at them, not me."

2) Give the customer his 2.25 million credits back.

3) Offer them a post-fix non-CH pet and some version of #1.

4) Something else (please explain).

Assuming I would sell the pet, I would do #2.

How about the rest of you? How much is your good name worth? Is there really no place for morality in a video game?

First I'd fight off the flames and explain that its not my fault, but that I'd refund the money or replace their pet. Giving the money back or replacing the pet will go much further than keeping the money and telling them to bug off. It's not like we're all struggling trying to make money in this game or anything.

Put the shoe on the other foot. I would be extremely gracious if someone did that for me.

I not have and wouldn't have for sale in first place so it dosn't matter since to me I not face that issue.

Did all the people who bought pets before the CH changes get their money back?

I think the buyer of something like this for prices like that is pretty aware that the game might change. If you sold it and they bought it, the deal is done. That's it.
