Oh, regarding the bol, I had two droids in my datapad. That was it. I hadn't even considered creatures before, and a guildie suggested I pop mine out to see if its added CL would boost the level of missions we pulled from the mission terminal. Told her I didn't have one, she gave me one (the bol). I didn't have either of my droids out and I tried to pull the bol, it said I couldn't tame it. I took it to a MCH, he tamed it for me and gave it back. I tried to pull it out again and it said I couldn't control it. I was rather frustrated. I'm still not sure if I can control up to the level I'm supposed to, since I have yet to find a creature of the right CL on the bazaar. Maybe I need to find a BE close to home, hm?

Force specials and area effect specials don't stick on the DNA.

I hope its not me scrwwing people over on pets, cause i am just trying to finish up BE and have been selling all my stuff on the bazaar in Coronet. The most I sell anything for is 6000, and those are usually level 17-19 pets or so. Although I have made some lower level stuff just by chance and sold it for less. Sorry to anyone who has had a problem with taming one of my creatures, but I figure for the low prices and decent specials i am giving them its a trade off. Anyways this is a problem i was unaware of not being a pro BE or spending long in the profession. Thanks for the heads up guys I'll trya nd be more careful crafting low level pets, I don't want to alienate any players from this excellent trade profession.


Just a side note, I have made like 200k in the last week running through BE. Not too shabby in my opinion, and its a lot more fun than I had originally thought.

My MBE/MCH/Ranger 0030 is a Wookie. So ismy Master Artisan/Master Tailor/Master Chef/Merchant 3440 though in hind site not the best choice(no bonus to artisan, can't wear hardly anything including the crafting aprons, less clothing slots for SEA)but it went with the story I wanted at the time.

Figured since almost every chef I know needs a BE and since I can't wear composite armor I could make pets that have similar stats to it and use em. Wookiees do get bonuses to creature handler, but as has been noted we can't wear any of the clothes specifically made for BE. I'm just praying I can find a tailor who can make me some clothes with fear release + active tranquilizers + active biosensors + scent neutralization (and some tensile resistance would be nice). Maybe then when I hit MBE I won't have to worry about the mutant rancors I'm sampling one hit killing my wicker wearing female. Still having trouble deciding what to spend the other 52 skill points on. Can't decide if I want Artisan 0/0/0/? or try to get some merchant so I can drop a vendor for my BE creations...
