What type of Holo was it? Does anyone think that perhaps if the magic list contains 6 professions (again this number is simply theoretical) that a Blue Holo would tell you 3 and the Red Holo tell you the other three? So in this case you'd need to try the other type of holo just to be safe? Just a thought, thanks for the info!

Hopefully that just doesn't mean you have to randomly master more classes now without the help of the Holocron. ^ ^

After you finish with the holocrons and get that message, I bet you have to surrender all skills, until you are nothing. (i.e. - have 250 skill points again)

On aside note, i think its rediculous that professions play even 1% part in unlocking the FS slot.

You say you've still got your holocron even after using it? Can you provide a screenshot then?

Other than that, what have you done in game? Have you been on all of the planets? Have you joined a faction or a PA? Do you have a house? Have you visited most of the cities? If not, start doing it

Ive owned a PA
I own a Large and small house now
Been to all planets
havnt visited all cities

oh and for the nay sayer up there, believe what you want heh. I was only comming here to advertise that i got a holo finally. This other info is a bonus LOL

As for the exact wording, 2 things...

1. I was at work
2. SS has been down and I havnt played tonight.

I will use the holocron agian though since I still have it and post a screen shot (timestamped chat) and the exact wording if that makes you feel more secure.

Do you have a screenshot of the msg?

You might want to go to the trainers in your starting town and see if they give you a mission now that you have mastered every profession that you need for FSS.

No. I've gotten both kind of holo off of dark troopers.

this means you're one lucky sap bud you acheived all the profesions on your FS checklist without the use of a holocron. congrats bud. you should be poud now you have to find out what else you need to do to get the slot. people specualte on that, but its gotta be somehting else... badges? guilds? themeparks? travel? perhaps some npc quests? dunno. Good luck figurin it out, cause you must be really close

If I were you I would go and join whatever faction that is the opposite of your current.

Or this could be verification that Holocrons are indeed random? Anyone master 2 basic professions and 4 master professions before talking to a holocron and get told to do a 7th profession? Interesting. I'm off to go find that answer, but feel free to tell me I'm wrong.
